SUMMARY:New Moon Awakening: Celestial Sisterhood Women's Circle
DESCRIPTION:All women are invited to join our monthly women’s circle around the fire and under the new moon starting on May 15! \nNew Moon Awakening: The Celestial Sisterhood is a monthly women’s gathering held at Kinstone generally on the Friday closest to the New Moon in the same month. Under the embrace of the new moon\, this event\, facilitated by Sierra Lynn of Yog Collective or Deanna Skroch\, invites women into a profound exploration of self and sisterhood here at this sacred stone sanctuary where the wisdom of the earth and the cosmos is embodied. \nIn this sacred space\, we will experience: \n\nIntentional movement that harmonizes our bodies with the rhythms of nature\, awakening our innate energy and grounding our spirits.\nGuided breathwork to deepen our connection to the divine within\, inviting clarity and the release of old patterns as we prepare to set our intentions of rebirth.\nEmotive dialogue\, to honor each woman’s story\, fostering a rich tapestry of shared experiences and insights. Our connection practices will cultivate a deep sense of unity\, allowing us to celebrate the power of vulnerability and the strength found in sisterhood.\n\nCloaked in the elements and held by the fire\, we close our gathering with meaningful ritual\, aligning our intentions with the lunar cycle and invoking the transformative energy of the new moon. Join us here for a journey of awakening and renewal\, as we embrace the magic of the new moon and the celestial sisterhood that binds us all. \nAfter the event ends\, all participants are asked to leave Kinstone in a timely manner. If you wish to wander the grounds\, please come earlier in the day\, prior to the start of the event. \n\nMonthly schedule: generally the second Friday of the month (usually the closest Friday to the new moon) from May through October \nDates: May 15\, June 12\, July 10\, August 14\, September 11\, and October 9 \nTime: 6:30pm – 8:30pm \nLocation: Around the Fire in the Stargazer Circle at Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: These monthly new moon gatherings are donation based PLUS the entrance fee to Kinstone ($10). The Visitor Center will remain open until 6:45pm on these event nights to accommodate this. \nOur hope is to keep these accessible to any women who are feeling the call to community and celestial sisterhood. If the cost of entrance to Kinstone is prohibitive\, please reach out\, we have a scholarship fund for those in need. Consider a Season Pass to Kinstone if you plan to attend these and/or other Kinstone admission+ donation-based events regularly! \nNo pre-registration  is required; just show up with your Kinstone admission (pay in the Visitor Center before the event or check in at the Visitor Center if you have paid in advance or have your season pass) and bring a free-will donation for your facilitator (cash is appreciated and will be collected by the facilitator during the event). \nThe Visitor Center will be kept open on New Moon Awakening evenings until at least 6:45pm to accommodate folks coming in for these events. Try to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time. \nWhat to bring:  your admission ($10) and a cash donation for the leader\, a chair and/or blanket to sit on outdoors\, sunscreen\, insect repellent\, extra layers of clothing\, a water bottle\, an umbrella for rain or sun\, flashlights or headlamps for dark nights. SUMMARY:World Labyrinth Day Walk as One at 1 - Group Labyrinth Walk
DESCRIPTION:Come walk the Kinstone Labyrinth with Kristine on World Labyrinth Day.  This is simply a group labyrinth walk to promote peace around the world. No special programming is planned. Join us!  \nWe will walk the outdoor 7-circuit classical labyrinth as a group at 1pm. The labyrinth is located down a hill; be prepared to walk a relatively steep grassy path downhill and then back up again afterwards. There will be paper finger labyrinths available in the Visitor Center for anyone interested in participating by tracing a finger labyrinth or coloring one with our various art supplies. This is a free event; however\, if you plan to stay and enjoy the grounds of Kinstone before or after the walk\, please pay general admission ($10/person) in the Visitor Center upon arrival. \nWorld Labyrinth Day is an annual event sponsored by The Labyrinth Society\, always occurring on the first Saturday of May. It is a worldwide action with participants gathering at labyrinths at 1:00pm local time to “Walk as One at 1” to co-create a rolling wave of peaceful energy across the globe. Every year on this day thousands of people around the world participate in this moving meditation for world peace. \nBring your kids\, family\, friends! \nWhat: Walk as One at 1 – Group Labyrinth Walk for World Labyrinth Day \nWhere:  Kinstone Labyrinth\, at Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, WI\, 54629 – Directions Here \nWhen:  Saturday\, May 2\, 1:00pm  (Arrive by 12:45pm so you have enough time to get to the labyrinth by 1:00! The walk will begin promptly at 1:00pm.) \nCost:  FREE*\, No Registration Required \n*This is a free event. However\, if you plan to come early and/or stay after to walk the grounds please pay your admission to Kinstone in advance online or pay in the Kinstone Visitor Center when you arrive. \nThis event will be held Rain or Shine! Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes! Having said that\, if it is storming with thunder\, lightning and/or high winds\, please take shelter and wait to walk until the storm has passed. \nImportant: The Kinstone Labyrinth is located down a steep hill and may not be accessible for persons who have difficulty walking hills and uneven terrain. If you are unable or would prefer not to walk\, we have labyrinth designs printed on paper that folks can use as finger labyrinths. You can pick up a paper labyrinth in the Visitor Center. Use it in the Visitor Center or take it with you to use at home. Thank you!! \nWORLD LABYRINTH DAY = MAY 3\, 2026 \nAs stated by The Labyrinth Society\, there are many ways to participate: \n\nWalk a labyrinth at 1:00PM local time to co-create a rolling wave of peace passing from one time zone to the next around the globe.\nWalk alone or with others\nLet your fingers do the walking by using a finger labyrinth\nDo a virtual walk via Zoom with friends and family\nCreate labyrinth art\nBuild a permanent or temporary labyrinth\n\nWhat is a labyrinth?  It is a single path\, of ancient geometric form\, leading the walker in to a center and back out again. The meandering nature of the path is a metaphor for life experience or perhaps a reflection of our desire to be grounded and find our way to “center” (i.e. become centered). A labyrinth is not to be confused with a maze. A maze is a problem to be solved and designed to create confusion and often frustration. The labyrinth is designed to provide calm\, clarity\, and harmony. The form of the labyrinth is ancient; it spans thousands of years and has been found on every continent except Antarctica. \n\nHunt for labyrinths wherever you roam by searching the “World Wide Labyrinth Locator” – check it out! How many can you find in your state? How about in your zip code? You may be surprised!

SUMMARY:Vernal Equinox Sunrise Observance - The Heart Alignment
DESCRIPTION:Equinox Sunrise Observance – The Heart Alignment        \nWatch the Early Rays of Spring Sun Enlighten the Heart Stone \nNote: this sunrise event is intentionally scheduled for the day after Equinox; note that our sunset event is on the day of Equinox! \nWeather and snow conditions permitting\, we will be outdoors as we stand and watch the sunrise. If the weather is bad (i.e. winter storms)\, we will cancel – watch for cancellation updates (if any) on the evening before or the day of the event.  \nAt Kinstone we have a unique alignment visible only at Equinox at sunrise\, we call it The Heart Alignment. Stand with us in The Three Witnesses sculpture as the sun aligns through the Equinox Window and highlights the Heart Stone. Come and see! \nVernal (Spring) Equinox is an astronomically significant solar event. It occurs when the sun is midpoint in its journey from Winter Solstice to Summer Solstice. The sun appears to rise at due east and set at due west. It is traditionally seen as a time of balance. The light of day and the dark of night are equal. It is the herald of spring; a time for new beginnings\, growth\, and seeking the joy of the light. \nCOST: admission to Kinstone\, $10/person\, (pay in person in the Kinstone Visitor Center upon arrival or pay in advance online). No Registration Required. \nDate: Saturday March 21\, 2026 Time: 6:30am – 8:00am \nCome at 6:30am to enjoy the predawn horizons and our brief program before we stand to watch the sun arrive. Stay for a while afterwards for coffee or tea in the Visitor Center or wander the grounds. The Gift Shop and the grounds will remain open until 2pm on this day. \nWe will gather in the center of The Three Witnesses sculpture at Kinstone. Given fair weather and clear skies\, we will watch the sun as it crests the ridge and beams through the Equinox Window to light up the heart of the middle standing stone\, known as the “Heart Stone”. Given cloudy weather\, we will not see the sunrise\, but will greet it ceremoniously regardless. \n\n\nThis will be a quiet\, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading to welcome Spring. After the reading\, if the sun is visible\, participants may wish to watch the alignment through the Equinox Window\, see the heart highlighted in the center stone Witness\, sit in the light of the sun\, take photos\, and greet the sunrise. \nDress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear\, jackets\, scarves\, hats and gloves! Bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on\, for your comfort\, if you wish. Be prepared for it to be breezy and cool up here on the ridge! (Many people underestimate the wind and cold.) \nThis event is outdoors and will be held only in good weather. If it is raining or snowing\, this event will be cancelled.  Cancellations will be posted only on this event page and on the corresponding Facebook event page at least four (4) hours before the scheduled start time for this event \n\nHAPPY SPRING! \nActual sunrise is expected at 7:07am for our location. However\, with the topography specific to Kinstone\, the time we witness it in our sunrise alignment is always just a bit later. \nInteresting fact: The exact time of the astronomical Vernal Equinox is Friday\, March 20\, 2026\, at 9:46am CDT.   \nPhoto credit: Kristine Beck

SUMMARY:Vernal Equinox Sunset Observance
DESCRIPTION:Vernal Equinox Sunset Observance \nCatch the Sun at the Equinox Sunset Alignment at Kinstone \n\nNote: this sunset alignment event is scheduled for the actual day of Equinox; please also join us for our sunrise alignment event that is scheduled for the day after Equinox. \n\nWeather and snow conditions permitting\, we will be outdoors as we stand and watch the sunset. If the weather is bad\, we will cancel – watch for cancellation updates (if any) on the day of the event.  \nAt Kinstone we have a unique alignment visible only at Equinox at sunset. Stand with us and the Enlightenment Stones (Atlas and Lancelot) as the sun aligns to shine through the perforations in Lancelot and cast a line of bright points of light onto Atlas. Come and see! \nSpring (Vernal) Equinox is an astronomically significant solar event. It occurs when the sun is midpoint in its journey from Winter Solstice to Summer Solstice. The sun appears to rise at due east and set at due west. It is traditionally seen as a time of balance. The light of day and the dark of night are equal. It is a herald of spring; a time for new beginnings\, growth\, and seeking the joy of the light. \nCOST: admission to Kinstone\, $10/person\, (pay in advance online OR pay in person in the Kinstone Visitor Center upon arrival – please arrive early enough to do that before proceeding to the location of the alignment and still get there before the event begins). No Registration Required. \nDate: Friday\, March 20\, 2026   Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm \nCome early\, the Gift Shop and the Kinstone grounds will be open starting at Noon for this special day. \n\n\nThis will be a quiet\, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading to send Winter off with a flourish. Given fair weather and clear skies as the sun sets in the West\, we will witness the light as it passes through the “Wise One” (Lancelot) and enlightens the “World” (Atlas). If the sunlight is strong enough and unobstructed by clouds on the horizon\, we will see the alignment and some of us attending may be able to “catch the sun”. We will begin watching for opportunities to Catch the Sun immediately after our readings. \nDress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear\, jackets\, scarves\, hats and gloves. Bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on\, for your comfort\, if you wish. Be prepared for it to be breezy and cool up here on the ridge (many people underestimate the wind and cold). \nThis event is outdoors and will be held only in good weather. If it is raining or snowing\, this event will be cancelled. Cancellations will be posted only on this event page and on the corresponding Facebook event page at least four (4) hours before the scheduled start time for this event. \n\nIMPORTANT:  Anyone attending can try to “catch the sun” on a first-come basis. As many as we can get through will be given a chance to be photographed with their hands catching the sun – bring a friend who can be your photographer! \n\nHAPPY SPRING! \nActual sunset is expected to occur at 7:19pm for our location on this date. However\, with the topography specific to Kinstone\, the time we witness it is always just a bit earlier than expected. Also\, the alignment is seen starting around 30 minutes prior to the actual setting of the sun. \n The exact time of the astronomical Vernal Equinox is 9:46am CDT on Friday\, March 20th. \nPhoto credit: Kristine Beck

SUMMARY:3rd Saturday Monthly Community Healing Ritual
DESCRIPTION:Kinstone + Connections = Kinections!\nAre you looking for more opportunities to deepen your connections to self and others? Come explore the mysteries of your inner landscape while sharing energies with the mystical\, magical landscapes of Kinstone. \nJoin us for monthly Kinections through HEALING RITUALS on third Saturdays June 21 thru Oct 18. \n\n\n“Ritual is called for because our soul communicates things to us that the body translates as need\, or want\, or absence. So we enter into ritual in order to respond to the call of the soul.” \n― Malidoma Patrice Somé\, Ritual: Power\, Healing and Community\n\n\nJoin us for this monthly community healing ritual led by Erica Thibodeaux\, MS\, LPCC.  No experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome. \nDuring these events\, we will come together and create a ritual that emerges from the rhythm of all who are gathered\, their current needs\, and the guidance and support of the elemental beings of the fire (ancestors)\, water\, earth\, nature\, and mineral. \nWhat gets created in group ritual arises out of the participants voices. Together\, we will create something NEW based on the relationships each participant carries with them into our circle from their own inner wisdom that may or may not be already known. \nThis event is highly participatory. You are asked to arrive with an open heart and mind and a willingness to learn from the Elements themselves\, as well as willingness to support your fellow participants.
Alcohol and drug use are not allowed during these events. \n\nCost: These rituals are donation based + the entrance fee to Kinstone ($10). Our hope is to keep these accessible to any who are feeling the call to community and nature-based healing. If the cost of entrance to Kinstone is prohibitive\, please reach out\, we have a scholarship fund for those in need. \nNo pre-registration  is required; just show up with your Kinstone admission (pay in the Visitor Center before the event or check in at the Visitor Center if you have paid in advance or have your season pass) and a free-will donation for Erica (cash is appreciated and will be collected by Erica during the event). Note that Erica shares all donations with her elders to aid in the continuation of their work. \n\nMonthly schedule: always the third Saturday each month from June 21 through October 18 \nTime: 2:00pm to 5:00pm;  followed by an optional picnic fellowship from 5pm to 6pm. \nDate | Location | Element  \nJune 21 | Dolmen | Fire (Ancestors)\nJuly 19 | Pond | Water\nAugust 16 | Under the Pines by the Yurt | Earth\nSeptember 20 | The Three Witnesses sculpture | Nature (Authenticity)\nOctober 18 | Great Stone Circle | Mineral\n\n\nAbout the leader: \nErica Thibodeaux\, MS\, LPCC\, is a licensed professional counselor in private practice Winona\, MN. Erica has taught mindfulness meditation in diverse settings such as universities\, corporate environments\, and local organizations.  She uses creative and empowering methods to evoke client-centered transformation and provide individuals\, couples\, and families with tools to take and use over their lifetime. Some of the methods she uses are group and community ritual facilitation\, somatic and body-centered therapy\, focusing\, spiritual re-wilding\, earth and nature-based therapy\, and Indigenous African technologies. Ritual is at the core of all that she offers. \nErica’s awareness and knowledge of ritual and her relationships with the Elements have been inspired and encouraged by her teachers\, Dagara Elder Malidoma Somé and Elder Theresa Sykes Brittany.  Read more about Erica at her website https://ericathibodeaux.com/.

SUMMARY:New Moon Awakening: The Celestial Sisterhood
DESCRIPTION:The New Moon Women’s Circle that has been held here at Kinstone since 2016 is evolving!  Check out this amazing fresh new name\, leader\, and look! We are so excited to see all of you again – around the fire under the new moon starting on May 30! \nNew Moon Awakening: The Celestial Sisterhood is a monthly women’s gathering held at Kinstone generally on the Friday closest to the New Moon in the same month. Under the embrace of the new moon\, this event\, facilitated by Sierra Lynn of Yog Collective\, invites women into a profound exploration of self and sisterhood here at this sacred stone sanctuary where the wisdom of the earth and the cosmos is embodied.
\n\nMonthly schedule: generally the Friday closest to the new moon from May through October \nDates: May 30\, June 27\, July 25\, August 22\, September 19\, and October 24 \nTime: 6:30pm – 8:30pm \nLocation: Around the Fire in the Stargazer Circle at KINSTONE\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: These monthly new moon gatherings are donation based PLUS the entrance fee to Kinstone ($10). \nNo pre-registration  is required; just show up with your Kinstone admission (pay in the Visitor Center before the event or check in at the Visitor Center if you have paid in advance or have your season pass) and a free-will donation for your facilitator (cash is appreciated and will be collected by the facilitator during the event). \nThe Visitor Center will be kept open on New Moon Awakening evenings until at least 6:45pm to accommodate folks coming in for these events.

DESCRIPTION:Silver Apples of the Moon – Golden Apples of the Sun. \nStories of Harvest\nLughnasadh Stories Around the Fire\, Under the Stars\nSacred Storytelling with Storyteller\, Tracy Chipman\n\n\nGather together around the fire\, on the threshold of Lughnasadh/Lammas with the land in celebration for the upcoming harvest with Wisconsin storyteller\, Tracy Chipman. Lughnasadh is one of the four cross-quarter days in the Celtic Wheel of the Year\, marking the midpoint between the Summer Solstice and the Autumnal Equinox. \nStories and the art of storytelling transcend time and space; they are set deep in our bones. Our stories\, both ancient and new\, are transformational and absolutely essential to all life on this planet.
