The rising FULL MOON will be seen (weather permitting) as it climbs up from the eastern horizon while we welcome it with awe \nAccording to Frank\, the gong is a psycho-acoustic gateway to heightened states of awareness and consciousness. It is an ideal tool for stress reduction. Gongs and singing bowls are useful in resolving emotional and physical dissonance. Magic happens when there is no separation between the gong or the bowl\, the player and the listener. Playing and listening to gongs and bowls is about spiritual\, physical and emotional resolution. The sounds and frequencies help to open doors and windows onto the Universe\, moving around Universal energies and perhaps even usher the listener into a spiritual dimension. \nSecond Hour: Optional Chakra Grounding or Gong Bath\, each costs $5 extra in cash!  Bring cash if you want to participate; first come first served! \n\nChakra Grounding\n\nExperience sound frequency healing while standing inside a large singing bowl\n\n\n\n\nGong Bath\n\nExperience sound frequency healing while sitting in front of a large gong\n\n\n\n*IMPORTANT:  This is a family friendly\, alcohol free\, smoke free event! \nIn case the event is cancelled due to rain on both its originally schedule date AND its published rain date\, we will refund your ticket\, otherwise\, there are NO REFUNDS. Watch this webpage and/or the corresponding event page on Facebook for updates on schedule changes and cancellations due to weather. We will post schedule change and/or cancellation notifications no later than 1 hour before the scheduled start time of the event. \nRefund Policy:  There are no refunds. If you sign up and then determine you cannot attend\, you may offer your ticket to another individual if you wish. You are asked to arrive with an open heart and mind and a willingness to learn from the elements themselves as well as willingness to support your fellow participants. SUMMARY:August New Moon Women's Circle
DESCRIPTION:Theme for August: FEARLESSLY ME – I AM NOT AFRAID TO BE SEEN \nThe Kinstone New Moon Women’s Circle is a Sister Circle inspired by the Global Sisterhood™.  A Sister Circle is a safe and sacred place where we can get real\, share our journeys\, insights\, and stories. We can cultivate self-love and authentic connection. In circle we can all speak our truth and be seen and heard for who we are. All women are invited to join in our circle\, especially women who desire to create supportive relationships with other women\, women who are feeling overwhelmed or stressed and are looking for some rejuvenation\, and women who are looking for ways to find and express the Sacred in their daily lives. \nWe meet at Kinstone once a month on the Friday closest to the new moon. Join us! Here are the details for this month: \nDate/Time: Friday\, August 18\, 6:30pm-8:30pm  (fyi: the new moon actually occurs on August 16) \nLocation: AROUND THE FIRE in Stargazer Circle at KINSTONE\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: Included with admission to Kinstone ($10/person) Pay in advance online or bring cash with you (exact change\, please) *Love Offering optional for volunteer facilitator \nTheme of the Month: FEARLESSLY ME – I AM NOT AFRAID TO BE SEEN During the new moon in Leo we dive into the parts of ourselves we hide\, allowing them to come out and play\, so we can be whole\, confident\, and embodied women. Remember that for thousands of years it wasn’t safe for women to show the world our true brilliance and gifts. \nAstrology: Leo (Fire sign ruled by the Sun) This new moon in Leo invites us to step into the spotlight with faith and trust\, saying “Here I am!”\, and owning our truth. Our truth is our power\, and often we deny our own truth to ourselves\, to our close loved ones\, and perhaps to everyone we meet. \nKeywords: Courage\, loyalty\, leadership\, pride\, sincerity\, charisma\, passion\, authority\, warmth\, generosity\, abundance\, active\, open\, enjoys being admired \nSome questions for contemplation / inspiration for sharing this month: \n\nHow would you use your voice about edgy issues like racism or sexism if you were standing in your full multi-spectrum truth and being fully honest with yourself and others?\n\n\nWhat situation in your life would benefit from you allowing yourself to be more fully seen? What action could you take that could help you heal?\n\n\nDo you have a relationship in your life where you feel unsafe to be fully you? If so\, what is the story you are running in your head about that relationship and how can you change the narrative?\n\n\nWhat are you afraid to let be seen? Why? What happens when you share it with the group or a partner? How does it feel?\n\n\nWhat is something you are holding back from sharing with the world or the ones closest to you: socially\, professionally\, and emotionally.\n\n\nWhat is one of your gifts or talents that most people don’t know about? \n\n\nTell about a time you were courageously vulnerable or opened up instead of hiding. What happened? How did you feel?\n\nWhat to expect: In Circle\, we discuss the theme for the month\, then join in a short group heart meditation\, followed by a time for personal sharing – feelings\, questions\, truths\, stories\, poems\, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength\, fearlessness\, nurturing\, healing and gifts. Come as you are. \nCome prepared to share! Feel free to share what is on your heart\, something you have written or bring a short poem\, quote\, or story that speaks to you – this may be relevant to the theme for the month or could be anything that you find inspirational or that highlights the unique strengths of women. \nWHAT  TO BRING: An item for the altar (stone\, flowers\, personal item etc.)\, a chair and/or blanket to sit on outdoors\, sunscreen\, insect repellent\, extra layers of clothing\, a water bottle\, flashlights or headlamps for dark nights.  \n  \nDates\, Themes\, and Astrology for New Moon Circles in 2023 \nMay 19\, REDEFINING BEAUTY: MY BODY\, MY RULES\, Taurus (Earth sign ruled by Venus) \nJune 16\, FREE THE VOICE: I EXPRESS MY AUTHENTIC TRUTH\, Gemini (Air sign ruled by Mercury) \nJuly 14\, ANCESTRAL HEALING: I HEAL MY PAST\, PRESENT\, AND FUTURE\, Cancer (Water sign\, ruled by the Moon) \nAugust 18\, FEARLESSLY ME – I AM NOT AFRAID TO BE SEEN\, Leo (Fire sign ruled by the Sun) \nSeptember 15\, THE GREAT MOTHER: I AM HER DAUGHTER\, HOLY AND SOVEREIGN\, Virgo (Earth sign ruled by Mercury) \nOctober 13\, RESTORING BALANCE: I HEAL THE MASCULINE AND FEMININE WITHIN\, Libra (Air sign ruled by Venus)

SUMMARY:Strikepoint - A Tintinnabulation of Bells
DESCRIPTION:The “strikepoint” is a mark etched into the side of a bell indicating precisely where the clapper should strike to create the purest sound. \nStrikepoint\, an internationally-acclaimed handbell ensemble based in Duluth\, MN\, will be playing for the love of the bells in a small group session at Kinstone. Visitors to Kinstone are invited to listen and experience the uplifting joy of their playing of the bells. The music will be offered in the Great Stone Circle (weather dependent) for free-will donations. A collection basket will be available near the performance. All donations will go to this group!  If weather is not ideal\, the session will move to one of our sheltered locations (e.g. Chapel\, Dragon’s Keep or Education Center Porch). \nParaphrased from a news article in the Akron Beacon Journal: Annual summer tours have taken this group throughout the continental U.S. as well as to England\, Scotland\, Wales\, Japan\, Canada\, Hong Kong\, Sweden\, and Hawaii. Strikepoint has been the featured performer at numerous Area and National Handbell Festival Conferences \, as well as four National Handbell Directors’ Seminars. Strikepoint recordings have been featured on local\, national\, and international broadcasts. \nWhen performing in full concert\, Strikepoint rings 6-plus octaves of bronze Schulmerich handbells\, 7 octaves of handchimes\, 2 octaves of Silver Melody Bells\, and 3 octaves of Petit and Fritzen handbells\, along with a range of other instruments as needed. We may see some portion of these collections in our impromptu session with them at Kinstone; however please be informed that this is NOT a concert. We are lucky to have the group doing this impromptu\, small group session in a fun and engaging way right here.  \nDATE:  Saturday\, August 5     3:00pm to 3:45pm \nCOST:  DONATION BASED performance.  This event is included with ADMISSION to Kinstone  – pay admission as you would to visit Kinstone on any other day; then plan to make a donation for the performers as well!  They will receive 100% of the donations collected during this session. \nYou can follow Strikepoint on social media here: STRIKEPOINT FACEBOOK PAGE

If you bring children with you\, please ensure that they stay with you at all times and maintain quiet voices. \nFirst Hour: Enjoy the Session in Sound offered by Frank Andresen and Kathy Hansman from Temple Harmonics of Winona\, MN – A light show and healing sound bath with gongs\, singing bowls and flutes in the Great Stone Circle. \nWHAT TO BRING: Bring your own chair\, reclining lawn chair\, blankets\, pillows\, or mats for your comfort. Bring a flashlight\, dress for the weather\, and wear sturdy walking shoes. Bring something to protect yourself from any mosquitoes or other biting insects as they become more active after sunset. Bring your favorite crystal to charge it up with all this high vibe energy – and don’t forget to take it home again! Bring your printed ticket with you for admission! If paying at the door\, bring $30 in CASH; correct change please. Plus\, bring extra cash if you wish to do the Chakra Grounding and/or Gong Bath\, they are $5 each. Come early if you want to stop in the Kinstone Gift Shop before the show. \nIn case the event is cancelled due to rain on both its originally schedule date AND its published rain date\, we will refund your ticket\, otherwise\, there are NO REFUNDS. SUMMARY:The Labyrinth and the Creative Spirit Workshop
DESCRIPTION:THE LABYRINTH AND THE CREATIVE SPIRIT \nJoin Kathie Giorgio\, critically acclaimed author of novels\, story books\, essays and poetry as she presents an educational workshop on the use of the labyrinth as a tool to enhance and focus the creative process. \nImportant: Hand sanitizer will be available at all times\, each person will have their own materials\, some content will be delivered outdoors (weather permitting)\, each person will bring their own lunch and snacks. Masks are optional. \nThe labyrinth and the creative process go hand in hand. In this interactive workshop\, we will first take the time to define the four steps of the creative process: Preparation\, Incubation\, Illumination\, and Implementation. Then we will make these steps OUR steps – literally our footsteps – as we walk the labyrinth. \nAll who take this workshop are encouraged to have an interest in the arts\, particularly writing\, literary arts and visual arts. Each person will focus on an individual project. You do not have to have a specific\, pre-determined project\, and in fact\, it is better to come with an open mind as the labyrinth will help you arrive at an idea. Please don’t feel that you already have to be an artist or writer to do this – anyone with an interest is encouraged to participate. \nAfter the discussion of the creative process\, we will all walk the labyrinth. Upon reaching the center of the labyrinth\, participants will jot down notes or sketches of the images and thoughts they had on the spiral in. The walk from center back to the beginning is a focused time to let your idea(s) take shape. Upon stepping out of the labyrinth\, participants will start to formalize and work on their project – an art piece or written work – within the time allotted. \nAll participants will leave the workshop with a project well underway and helped on its way by turning our footsteps into the steps of the creative process. \nPre-registration is required\, as space is limited. The fee includes instruction and a selection of materials; the workshop is expected to fill. \nAlthough some art and writing materials will be provided\, please bring your preferred art supplies and/or whatever it is you like to write on. A sense of familiarity is often welcomed when working on something brand new. You are free to bring your own writing tools\, brushes\, charcoal or pastels\, or whatever you wish to work with\, and if you write\, feel free to bring your laptop or tablet or actual notebooks or paper and a favorite pen! \nPlease bring your own sack lunch. Beverages (e.g. water\, tea\, coffee\, sparkling water) will be provided. \nDate: Saturday\, July 22\, 2023 \nTime: 10:00am to 3:00pm (plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early!) \nLocation: the Kinstone Education Center / the Kinstone Labyrinth (weather permitting) \nCOST: Regular Price: $75.00; Early Bird price through JUNE 22: $65.00 \nTicket includes instruction\, a selection of materials\, and general admission to Kinstone. \nThere are No Refunds unless the event is cancelled by Kinstone. \n  \nLimited attendance! SUMMARY:July New Moon Women's Circle
DESCRIPTION:Theme for July: ANCESTRAL HEALING: I HEAL MY PAST\, PRESENT\, AND FUTURE \nThe Kinstone New Moon Women’s Circle is a Sister Circle inspired by the Global Sisterhood™. Join us! Here are the details for this month: \nDate/Time: Friday\, July 14\, 6:30pm-8:30pm  (fyi: the new moon actually occurs on July 17) \nLocation: AROUND THE FIRE in Stargazer Circle at KINSTONE\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: Included with admission to Kinstone ($10/person) Pay in advance online or bring cash with you (exact change\, please) *Love Offering optional for volunteer facilitator \nTheme of the Month: ANCESTRAL HEALING: I HEAL MY PAST\, PRESENT\, AND FUTURE Clearing ancestral patterns can touch every area of our lives. This can result in a healthier relationship with ourselves\, finally allowing us to feel safe in our bodies and on this earth. We feel a sense of belonging — not only in community\, but within a larger web of life that stretches through time. Possibly the most beautiful result is that we tap into the spiritual wisdom\, guidance\, and protection of our ancestors. This wisdom is needed to heal ourselves and our world. \nAstrology: Cancer (Water sign\, ruled by the Moon): Cancer embodies the energies of love\, harmony and sympathy. Is gifted with a strong intuition and psychic powers. \nKeywords: Deep emotions\, empathy\, sensitivity\, intuition\, nurturing\, sentimental\, tender\, caring\, subconscious \nSome questions for contemplation / inspiration for sharing this month: \n\nHow would you describe your relationship with ancestors?\nWhat patterns do you witness in your family that are also in you\, that you want to bring healing to?\nHow does your ancestry tie into your identity\, and affect how you move through life both personally and socially? \nWhat privileges or challenges are related to your maternal and paternal lineages?\nHave you ever felt the presence of your ancestors? If so\, what did it feel like\, or what did it bring up for you?\nSomeday\, most of us will be ancestors. When you think forward to being an ancestor or an elder\, what wisdom would you pass on to future generations?\nWhen you close your eyes and feel\, what wisdom or guidance do you sense that your ancestors would want to give you?\n\nWhat to expect: In Circle\, we discuss the theme for the month\, then join in a short group heart meditation\, followed by a time for personal sharing – feelings\, questions\, truths\, stories\, poems\, and more. \nDates\, Themes\, and Astrology for New Moon Circles in 2023 \nMay 19\, REDEFINING BEAUTY: MY BODY\, MY RULES\, Taurus (Earth sign ruled by Venus) \nJune 16\, FREE THE VOICE: I EXPRESS MY AUTHENTIC TRUTH\, Gemini (Air sign ruled by Mercury) \nJuly 14\, ANCESTRAL HEALING: I HEAL MY PAST\, PRESENT\, AND FUTURE\, Cancer (Water sign\, ruled by the Moon) \nAugust 18\, FEARLESSLY ME – I AM NOT AFRAID TO BE SEEN\, Leo (Fire sign ruled by the Sun) \nSeptember 15\, THE GREAT MOTHER: I AM HER DAUGHTER\, HOLY AND SOVEREIGN\, Virgo (Earth sign ruled by Mercury) \nOctober 13\, RESTORING BALANCE: I HEAL THE MASCULINE AND FEMININE WITHIN\, Libra (Air sign ruled by Venus)

Come explore the mysteries of your inner landscape while sharing energies with the mystical\, magical landscapes of Kinstone. \nJoin us for monthly Kinections through DRUMMING on first Tuesdays. \n\nEvery First Tuesday\, May through October\,  – yes\, even on the Fourth of July – join us for a drum circle in the Great Stone Circle; led by Cheri Bunker. Join us outdoors in the midst of the energy of the Great Stone Circle. Each month we will do different types of drumming. For example\, one month may be all frame drums and another a mix of world drums and hand percussion; sometimes we may sit in a circle and other times we may move about or walk in rhythm. \nAbsolutely no drumming experience is necessary and if you do not have a drum\, one will be provided for you. If you do have a drum or hand percussion instrument\, please bring it along! Participants are encouraged to move freely within the circle with drums or dance to the primal beat. We will end each circle with a melodic rhythm meditation that is deeply moving. Please bring a chair or blanket for your comfort if you wish. \nThe energy exchange happening within Kinstone during time is so important. SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Sunrise Observance
DESCRIPTION:Every Summer Solstice\, we stand and greet the sun as it enters the Great Stone Circle at sunrise. You are invited to join us as we recognize the passing of the seasons from Spring to Summer in this auspicious and sacred stone place. \nIf it is not raining we will gather at 5:15 am in the Great Stone Circle in time to witness the rising of the sun – actual sunrise is at 5:23am but it is usually 5:30 before it visible in the stone circle. Feel free to arrive as early as 5:00am if you wish. \nGiven fair weather and a clear horizon\, we will watch the sun as it crests the ridge and is ushered through the Summer Solstice Corridor into the circle. It will set its golden glow upon anyone standing in the middle of the circle. Further\, it will cast the shadow of those persons standing in the center onto the stone directly in the path of the sun – the “Shadow Stone”.  Fun fact: This stone also marks the exact point of WINTER Solstice SUNSET\, i.e.  summer solstice sunrise and winter solstice sunset occur along the exact same line!  Truly magical! \nGiven cloudy weather\, we will not see the sunrise or the shadow\, but will greet the dawn of Summer ceremoniously regardless! This will be a quiet\, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading. Feel free to bring a reading or quote to share. Witness the arrival of Summer. Send Spring on its way with blessings. \nCOST: admission to Kinstone (pay in advance online OR place your cash admission in the Blue Payment Box attached to the Information Sign Board near the parking areas); No Registration Required \nDate: Wednesday\, June 21\, 2023 (rain date: June 22)  Time: 5:15am – 6:15am \nThis event is outdoors. Please note that we will not see the alignment if it is cloudy or if the horizon is obstructed by morning mist\, fog\, rain\, or clouds. If it is raining or storming this event will be cancelled. Dress for the weather\, be prepared to walk on dewy\, wet grass paths; bring a blanket or camp chair if you wish for your comfort; wear appropriate footwear\, scarves\, hats\, and even gloves if needed! Bring your own insect repellent if you wish! \nCancellation will occur in case of RAIN. Cancellations will be posted ONLY on THIS event page and on the corresponding Facebook event page at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time for this event. If this event is cancelled due to weather\, it will be held the following morning (June 22) at the same time – assuming the weather has improved. \nInteresting fact: The exact time of the astronomical Summer Solstice is Wednesday\, June 21 at 9:57 am CDT.  \nPhoto credit: Kristine Beck

You are asked to arrive with an open heart and mind and a willingness to learn from the elements themselves as well as willingness to support your fellow participants.
