Plein air artists work to capture the spirit and essence of a landscape or subject by incorporating natural light\, color and movement into their art. \nFind out more about plein air painting and related events by visiting any of the following websites: \nWisconsin Plein Air Painters Association (WIPAPA) \nOutdoor Painters of Minnesota (OPM) \nPlein Air Painters of America (PAPA)

SUMMARY:First Sunrise of Autumn - Equinox Heart Alignment
DESCRIPTION:Autumn Equinox Morning Observance\nWatch the Sunrise Alignment Enlighten the Heart Stone \n\nJoin us to greet the first sunrise of Autumn! We will celebrate the Autumnal Equinox as we look to see the equinox sunrise alignment between sun and stone.\n\nAutumn Equinox is an astronomically significant solar event. It occurs when the sun is midpoint in its journey from Summer Solstice to Winter Solstice. The sun appears to rise at due east and set at due west. It is traditionally seen as a time of balance. The light of day and the dark of night are equal. It is a harbinger of winter; a time for settling in for the season of rest\, rejuvenation and root work. \nAt Kinstone we have a unique alignment visible only at Equinox at sunrise. Stand with us in The Three Witnesses sculpture as the sun aligns through the Equinox Window and highlights the Heart Stone. Come and see! \n\n\nWe will gather in the center of The Three Witnesses sculpture at Kinstone. Given fair weather and clear skies\, we will watch the sun as it crests the ridge (and the corn across the road!) and beams through the Equinox Window to light up the heart of the middle standing stone\, known as the “Heart Stone”. Given cloudy weather\, we will not see the sunrise\, but will greet it ceremoniously regardless! This will be a quiet\, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading. \nAfter our readings\, if the sun is visible\, participants may wish to look at the alignment through the Equinox Window\, see the heart highlighted in the Heart Stone\, sit in the light of the sun\, take photos\, and greet the sunrise. This gathering will last about 45 minutes to one hour. Actual sunrise is at 6:58am. However\, with the topography specific to Kinstone and the fields and trees in our view\, the time we witness it is always several minutes later. \n\n\n\nCOST: admission to Kinstone ($5/person) (pay in advance online OR place your cash admission in the Blue Payment Box attached to the Information Sign Board near the parking areas); No Registration Required \nDate: Wednesday\, September 22\, 2021   Time: 6:30am – 7:30am (at Sunrise) \nLocation: The Three Witnesses Sculpture at Kinstone \n\nDress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear\, jackets\, scarves\, hats and gloves! Bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on\, for your comfort\, if you wish. Be prepared for it to be breezy and cool up here on the ridge! (Most people underestimate the wind and cold.) \nThis event is outdoors and will be held only in good weather. In light of COVID-19\, for everyone’s health and safety\, we will NOT gather indoors for any portion of this program and no indoor social time will be offered. If it is raining or overcast\, this event will be cancelled.  \nCancellations will be posted ONLY on THIS event page and on the corresponding Facebook event page at least one (1) hour before the scheduled start time for this event. \n\nHAPPY AUTUMN! \nInteresting fact: The exact time of the astronomical Autumnal Equinox is Wednesday\, September 22\, 2021 at 2:21pm CDT.  \nPhoto Credit: Kristine Beck

SUMMARY:Last Sunset of Summer - Catch the Sun - Fall Equinox
DESCRIPTION:Autumn Equinox Evening Observance\nWatch the Sunset Alignment and Try to Catch the Sun! \nIMPORTANT: This event will be held as scheduled so as long as the weather is good and there are no further mandates regarding COVID-19. We will be outdoors and avoid standing close together\, and we will stand and watch the sunset! If the weather is bad\, we will cancel – watch for final updates on the day of the event. The Education Center will NOT be open during this event and there will be no available restroom facilities or place to get warm. Come prepared! \nAt Kinstone we have a unique alignment visible only at Equinox at sunset. Stand with us and the Enlightenment Stones (Atlas and Lancelot) as the sun aligns to shine through the perforations in Lancelot and cast a line of bright points of light onto Atlas. Come and see! \nCome celebrate the last sunset of Summer with us at Kinstone! Join us as we gather to observe the sunset alignment at Kinstone on the eve of the Fall (Autumnal) Equinox. We will gather near the stones known as Lancelot and Atlas for a short opening rite and reading.  Sunset is at 7:10pm according to the charts\, but is often a little earlier as seen from up on the ridge\, so we will begin watching for opportunities to Catch the Sun shortly after the reading at 6:30! \nGiven fair weather and clear skies as the sun sets in the West\, we will witness the light as it passes through the “Wise One” (Lancelot) and enlightens the “World” (Atlas). If the sun light is strong enough and unobstructed by clouds on the horizon\, we will see a line of polka-dots on Atlas and a select few folks may be able to “catch the sun” as it aligns with the perforations in the Wise One. Given cloudy weather\, we will not see the sunset\, but will greet it ceremoniously regardless! \nAutumnal Equinox is an astronomically significant solar event. SUMMARY:Singing Bowls at Sunset
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a meditative music experience in the Great Stone Circle at sunset. Ageless sounds of singing bowls blended with chant and song. It promises to be an evening of resonance and contemplative peace. \nTraditional historic singing bowls produce sounds that invoke deep states of relaxation; naturally assisting one in entering expanded states of consciousness and meditation. The sound of the bowls creates a deep level of communication with our inner world that opens us to the divine.  The sounds and vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls opens blockages and helps us experience an inner calm and deep relaxation to invigorate our natural energy thus allowing our body-mind-spirit to quiet and find balance. \nThomas Roberts will lead us for this evening of captivating renewal by calling forth the ageless bell sounds from the bowls. Karen Lee will sing or chant with the bowls. At times you may hear influences from the Native American cultures that are an integral part of her life experience and spirituality. Experience the power and beauty of traditional Tibetan singing bowls and the blending tones of Karen’s voice as we watch the sunset. \nDuring this performance at Kinstone one can expect the unexpected … vocal spontaneity and improvisation from the heart\, intertwined with the vibrational voices of the Singing Bowls.  Prepare to be opened to deep relaxation and meditation in the presence of sacred sound. Come join us!! \nDate:  Saturday\, September 11\, 2021 \nTime:  6:30pm until sunset (approximately 7:45)  (Note: Actual time of the sunset is 7:37pm.) \nTickets:  $15.00 Early Bird price through September 4\, after that it is $20.00 online and at the door. Kids 12 & under are FREE but must be accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket for the event. \nNo refunds unless cancelled by Kinstone due to weather. \nPay at the door is possible and must be in cash and exact change! Advanced payment is preferred. \n*IMPORTANT:  This is a family friendly\, alcohol free\, smoke free event! \nSTUFF TO BRING: Bring your own chair\, reclining lawn chair\, blankets\, pillows\, or mats for your comfort. Bring a flashlight\, dress for the weather\, and wear sturdy walking shoes. Bring something to protect yourself from any mosquitoes or other biting insects as they become more active after sunset.  Bring your printed ticket with you for admission! If paying at the door\, bring $20 in CASH; correct change please. \nWhen you arrive\, park in one of our two parking areas and then walk to the Great Stone Circle. Find a place to sit and wait for someone to come around to collect your ticket or your cash for participating in this event. Enjoy! If you arrive after the music has begun\, please be extra quiet as you get settled. If you bring children with you\, please ensure that they stay with you at all times and maintain quiet voices. \nThis event will be cancelled in case of bad weather; if that happens\, your ticket will be refunded; otherwise\, there are NO REFUNDS. \nCancellation notices will be posted not later than one hour before the scheduled start time of the event; they will be posted here on the website as well as on Facebook on the corresponding event page. \n\nThomas Roberts \nThomas (“Tom”) Roberts has gained widespread recognition in the field of health and healing as an and educator\, speaker and author who translates ancient mindfulness techniques into practical strategies that people can use in their everyday lives to be healthier\, happier\, and more fulfilled. Tom has nearly 50 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychotherapist. He has been an adjunct professor at Viterbo University in La Crosse\, WI and St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud\, MN\, where he has taught mind-body healing\, integrative medicine and other mindfulness related topics. He has been a practicing Zen Buddhist for nearly 50 years. In 1992 he received lay Buddhist vows from Thich Nhat Hanh. Based in La Crosse\, Wisconsin\, Tom offers contemplative and meditation retreats and workshops at centers locally and throughout the United States. He is the author of The Mindfulness Workbook: A guide to overcoming fear and embracing compassion (New Harbinger Press\, 2009). \n  \nKaren Lee \nVocalist Karen Lee has been crooning for a lifetime.  Originally a La Crosse native\, Karen has returned home after spending 20 years in Portland and La Grande OR\, and nearly a decade in NYC. Karen’s passion for singing has led her down various musical avenues. Her musical career began as folk singer/songwriter in the 70’s\, which evolved into country rock\, blues and swing\, rhythm and blues\, and later into jazz and improvisation. In her early musical adventures\, Karen laid down many miles of life on the road. Embracing cultural diversity and life’s experiences enhanced Karen’s musical expression as a vocal soloist.  And she has been a frequent band member who has often arranged and sang intricate harmonies.  All of her travels gave rise to live performances\, recordings and many other musical opportunities. Karen’s vocal sound continues to evolve. Her voice has been described as that of a rich and sultry ballad and blues singer that can belt out a strong as sassy R&B tune yet is able to sing the intimate style of a bossa nova.

SUMMARY:September New Moon Women's Circle
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT:  DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 SITUATION\, WE WILL ONLY HOLD THIS EVENT OUTDOORS AND ONLY IF THE WEATHER PERMITS. KEEP AN EYE ON THIS PAGE AND ON THE CORRESPONDING FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE FOR LAST MINUTE UPDATES. THANK YOU! \nKinstone Women’s Circle is a Sister Circle! We are part of the Global Sisterhood. A Sister Circle is a safe and sacred place where we can get real\, share our journeys\, insights\, and stories. We can cultivate self-love and authentic connection. In circle we can all speak our truth and be seen and heard for who we are. All women are invited to join in our circle\, especially women who desire to create supportive relationships with other women\, women who are feeling overwhelmed or stressed and are looking for some rejuvenation\, and women who are looking for ways to find and express the Sacred in their daily lives. \nDate: Friday\, September 10\, 2021  Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm  (fyi: actual New Moon was on Sept 6) \n\nSeptember Theme: The Great Mother: I am her daughter\, Holy and Sovereign\n\nAstrology: Virgo (Earth sign\, ruled by Mercury) \nKeywords: Blessings\, harmony\, luck\, positive energy\, uplift\, intuition\, spiritual guidance\, care for others\, relaxation \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month (modified from provided Global Sisterhood resources): \nGlobally\, we are at a time when issues of inequality\, income disparity\, oppression\, racism\, climate change\, sexism and violence are at the forefront of our conversations as a human family.  We are trying to course correct\, and that’s no simple task. We can talk about the macro world systems and challenges all day.  We can talk about the damage of colonialism or capitalism\, and we can talk about everything that is wrong with our world\, but that’s not where the deeper\, more impactful work exists. The work is within each of us – it all starts within. \n4\,000 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒈𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒅𝒂𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒗𝒆 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 came into being. Before that time\, we understood Nature as our Mother and all revered the feminine. This myth is about a woman who was created secondary to man and that the woman\, in her natural curiosity and desire\, sinned by tasting the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Humanity has been damned to live in sin since. Unmeasured damage has taken place from this distorted myth created by men alone. For thousands of years ancient theologians interpreted this myth to mean that women are less than men. But another turn of the spiral is taking place\, and we are collectively awakening to the damage this myth has created on the consciousness of men and women and to the very fabric of our societies around the planet. We must unlearn these myths that have seeded deeply below the surface of our awareness and reclaim the truth that Man and Woman are the children of Nature\, each one holy and sovereign. You and I are daughters of the Great Mother\, we are holy and each of us is sovereign. \nIt’s time to get honest\, cut the cords of behaviors and myths that drain our power\, and reclaim our sovreignity inherited from the Great Mother. \nSome questions for contemplation / inspiration for sharing this month: \n\n\n\nWhat were you taught about women\, the Goddess\, the concept of the Divine Feminine or feminine power?\nAs a young person\, were you told that you must fit into certain roles as a woman? If so\, what roles? Did your own ideas for yourself align with them?\nIf you could share a truth with every child in the world that they would then take to heart and embody\, what would it be?\nWhat would you do with your life if you could do anything\, and other people’s opinions did not affect you at all?\nWhat activities in your life make you feel most wild\, free\, and connected to your primal power?\nCreate your own question / reflection.\n\n\n\nPlace:  Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: Admission to Kinstone ($5/person) Pay in Advance or Bring Cash with you (exact change\, please) \nIMPORTANT: Come prepared to share! Feel free to share what is on your heart\, something you have written or bring a short poem\, quote\, or story that speaks to you – this may be relevant to the theme for the month or could be anything that you find inspirational or that highlights the unique strengths of women. \nWHAT TO BRING:  A chair and/or blanket to sit on outdoors\, sunscreen\, insect repellent\, extra layers of clothing\, your own water bottle\, flashlights or headlamps for dark nights. \n——————————————————————————– \nGENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE Monthly KINSTONE NEW MOON WOMEN’S CIRCLE Meetings \nWomen have been gathering in a healing\, sharing sister circle at Kinstone on the New Moon since March 2016 when the first International Women’s Day was launched. We average about 20 women at our circles. Sometimes less\, sometimes more. We’ve had as few as 3 and as many as 42 show up! It begins each year with an event in conjunction with International Women’s Day (March 8) and continues each month on the Friday after the New Moon (except if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday) through October! (Note: prior to May\, 2021 we met on the actual day of the New Moon each month\, due to a variety of circumstances\, we have changed this to be held on the Friday following the New Moon unless the New Moon is on a Saturday or Sunday\, then we would meet on that Saturday night.) \nIn circle\, we join in a short heart meditation\, then we have a time for personal sharing – feelings\, questions\, truths\, stories\, poems\, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength\, fearlessness\, nurturing\, healing and gifts. Come as you are. SUMMARY:August New Moon Women's Circle
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT:  DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 SITUATION\, WE WILL ONLY HOLD THIS EVENT OUTDOORS AND ONLY IF THE WEATHER PERMITS. IF IT IS RAINING WE MAY MEET ON THE PORCH. IF IT IS STORMING\, WE MAY CANCEL. \nDate: Saturday\, August 7\, 2021  Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm (fyi: actual New Moon is Aug 8) \n\nAugust Theme: Fearlessly Me: I choose to be seen\n\nAstrology: Leo (Fire Sign)\, ruled by the Sun \nKeywords:  Courage\, loyalty\, leadership\, pride\, sincerity\, charisma\, passion\, authority\, warmth\, generous\, abundant\, active\, open\, enjoys being admired \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month (modified from provided Global Sisterhood resources): \nSister\, you are a mosaic of your past experiences\, you are beautiful and worthy. As we face the injustices in our world and as we call out the illusions\, prejudices\, and illness of mind and spirit within our cultures\, we must remember that what we see outside of ourselves is also within ourselves. What we judge is also within us. What we find beautiful\, awe-inspiring and exquisite is also within us. \nIt is a time of MASSIVE individual healing on our planet which will reshape and rebirth our collective. In order for us to become shining diamonds\, made through the pressure and heaviness of this transformation\, we must OWN our part of the puzzle. We must own that we are powerful beyond measure and that our feelings are valid.  We must own that the feelings of others (even ones that contradict our own) are also valid.   Truth\, in many ways\, is subjective.  Truth takes many shapes. \nIf we don’t recognize that there is truth in subjectivity\, we will never unite as a human family. For this month’s theme\, Fearlessly Me\, we are going to practice OWNING our truths and the truths of others without judgement. \nHow can we train our nervous systems to walk in our truth\, own our power\, our fears\, our wounds\, our gifts\, and our desires and still be okay when others don’t see what we see? \nHow do we stay present when others might have opinions or thoughts about our actions or feelings that don’t resonate with our own? \nHow do we stay in curious-compassionate-love for others while LOVING ourselves and honoring ourselves\, too? \nHow do we stand for ourselves while still standing for others? \nThis month’s theme invites us to be wholly\, completely\, fearlessly ourselves. Together as a sisterhood\, we are coming out of hiding so that we can share our FULL expression with each other and the world. This is how we lead by example. Despite any fears we may have\, we choose to be seen! It’s time for the world to receive our gifts\, our love\, our brilliance\, our splendor\, and our stories. It’s time for us to show what vulnerable\, authentic leadership means. It’s time to step courageously into vulnerability in order to be seen — and to SHINE\, unhindered! \nSome questions for contemplation / inspiration for sharing this month: \n\n\n\nHow would you use your voice about edgy issues like racism or sexism if you were standing in your full multi-spectrum truth and being fully honest with yourself and others?\nWhat situation in your life would benefit from you allowing yourself to be more fully seen? What action could you take that could help you heal?\nDo you have a relationship in your life where you feel unsafe to be fully you? If so\, what is the story you are running in your head about that relationship and how can you change the narrative?\nWhat are you afraid to let be seen? Why? What happens when you share it with the group or a partner? How does it feel?\nWhat is something you are holding back from sharing with the world or the ones closest to you: socially\, professionally\, and emotionally.\nWhat is one of your gifts or talents that most people don’t know about? Tell us about a time you were courageously vulnerable\, or opened up instead of hiding. What happened? How did you feel?\nCreate your own question…\n\n\n\nPlace:  Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: Admission to Kinstone ($5/person) Pay in Advance or Bring Cash with you (exact change\, please) \nNO MEAL IS PROVIDED. Feel free to bring your own meal to enjoy picnic style before or after the circle meeting. \nIMPORTANT: Come prepared to share! SUMMARY:July New Moon Women's Circle
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT:  KEEP AN EYE ON THIS PAGE AND ON THE CORRESPONDING FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE FOR LAST MINUTE UPDATES. If the weather is bad and the group is not too large\, we may meet indoors. \nDate: Friday\, July 9\, 2021  Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm  (fyi: actual New Moon is today! July 9!) \n\nJuly Theme: Ancestral Healing: I heal the past\, present\, and future\n\nAstrology: Cancer (a Water sign\, ruled by the Moon) \nKeywords: deep emotions\, empathy\, sensitivity\, intuition\, nurturing\, sentimental\, tender\, caring\, subconscious \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month (modified from provided Global Sisterhood resources): \n“If we carry intergenerational trauma (and we do)\, then we also carry intergenerational wisdom. It’s in our genes and in our DNA.” – Kazu Haga \nOur ancestors are speaking loudly during this potent time on our planet\, calling us into healing on the deepest levels. Pain is arising to be healed in the lineages\, DNA\, and stories of all. Ancestral healing and connection is more important now than ever. As women on the path of healing\, this sacred work may be the most powerful gift we can offer to the world and to the generations to come. \nIt is time for us to rise into fierce love and to declare that the time for blindly perpetuating old patterns is over — within our families and lineages\, as well as in the collective. \nAs the New Moon is in the sign of Cancer\, we will take a moment to receive the gifts of this nurturing sign. Cancer embodies the energies of love\, harmony and sympathy and is gifted with a strong intuition and psychic powers. The New Moon is an opportunity to study old patterns\, ways of being and fundamental beliefs in order to discover new paths to growth. A time to re-set\, refresh and re-new! \nSome questions for contemplation / inspiration for sharing this month: \n\nHow would you describe your relationship with your ancestors?\nWhat patterns do you witness in your family that are also in you\, that you want to bring healing to?\nHow does your ancestry tie into your identity\, and affect how you move through life both personally and socially\nWhat privileges or challenges are related to your maternal and paternal lineages?\nHave you ever felt the presence of your ancestors? If so\, what did it feel like\, or what did it bring up for you?\nSomeday\, most of us will be ancestors. When you think forward to being an ancestor or an elder\, what wisdom would you pass on to future generations?\nWhen you close your eyes and feel\, what wisdom or guidance do you sense that your ancestors would want to give you?\nCreate your own question …\n\nPlace:  Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: Admission to Kinstone ($5/person) Pay in Advance or Bring Cash with you (exact change\, please) \nNO MEAL IS PROVIDED. Feel free to bring your own meal to enjoy picnic style before the circle meeting. \nIMPORTANT: Come prepared to share!

SUMMARY:June New Moon Women's Circle
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT:  In case of rain we will meet on the Porch of the Education Center (or even inside depending upon the number of women present).  \nHELLO FRIENDS! think about coming EARLY tonight and participating in the Friday Kinections Meditation going on from 5:30-6:30 (a donation based event) – just prior to our circle gathering. It will be a great prelude to our group heart meditation! \n\nNOTE THESE CHANGES THAT STARTED MAY\, 2021: Instead of meeting on the date of the actual new moon\, we will hold our in-person New Moon women’s circles on the Friday following the New Moon (except if the new moon falls on a Saturday or Sunday\, then it will be on that Saturday). We have also modified the start time to 6:30pm (used to be 6pm). Check each event page for the dates\, times and specifics. Also\, instead of being entirely free as they have been in the past\, these gatherings require admission to Kinstone ($5/person) paid in advance online or in person at the events. Thank you for your support in this! \n\n  \nKinstone Women’s Circle is a Sister Circle! \nDate: Friday\, June 11\, 2021  Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm (fyi: actual New Moon is June 10) \n\nJune Theme: Free the Voice: I express my authentic truth\n\nAstrology: Gemini (Air Sign\, ruled by Mercury) \nKeywords: communication\, mental mastery\, trusting your inner wisdom\, changing directions quickly\, curiosity\, open-mindedness \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month (modified from provided Global Sisterhood resources): \nLearning how to speak the truth of our heart with presence and clarity in a nonviolent and graceful way elevates our relationships\, our careers\, and our self-esteem. It helps us tell the people in our lives and the universe what we need and want… and ultimately\, we receive it. \nThere are as many ways to express ourselves as there are stars in the sky\, and women who have walked this earth. Our raw truth and our stories NEED to be heard… and witnessed. Learning to speak our truth will bring a new era for women in the future to express themselves freely. We will not alter our voices to simply to please people or be something that we are not. We will not be silenced or spoken over anymore. Our wisdom will be heard and respected. It’s time to listen to the voice and the truth of the unbridled feminine force. It speaks through every woman\, in every way. May it always be with authenticity and a fierce devotion to truth. It’s time to Free the Voice. \nIt’s time to release the patterns that tie and bind us into an expression that is untrue to the very core of our souls\, to elevate the consciousness of your communication and connection and to ride on the melodies of ancient songs as they speak to you and through you \nIt is time to listen to the voices of all the sisters who have walked this earth. Their wild woman wisdom lives on within you. They urge you to humble your mind so it becomes a student of the voice of the heart\, and follows the heart’s guidance. Allow the divine to move your tongue with clarity and truth. Trust in her precision. You are guided. Your story is needed. Your soul’s most resonant truth yearns to be expressed. It is safe to trust yourself. You are supported on your very own personal journey of healing and freeing the voice. May it be so for every woman. And so it is. \nSome questions for contemplation / inspiration for sharing this month: \n\n\n\nName one situation where you are holding back your truth. What’s your motivation in holding back?\nReal talk. On a scale of 1-10\, how devoted are you to expressing your most authentic self? How would your life change if you chose to take that number up a few notches?\nWhat passions\, creative projects\, songs\, or truths want to be expressed through you? What can you do to weave these avenues of self-expression into your life?\nWhat are you most terrified to say out loud? What have you held inside that upon speaking it\, may FREE you?\nHow would your life be different if you allowed yourself to be more vulnerable with others\, sharing more of your inner truth with them?\nCreate your own question…\n\n\n\nPlace:  Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: Admission to Kinstone ($5/person) Pay in Advance or Bring Cash with you (exact change\, please) \nNO MEAL IS PROVIDED. Feel free to bring your own meal to enjoy picnic style before or after the circle meeting. \nIMPORTANT: Come prepared to share if you want to! The cost is included in your admission to Kinstone\, just $5/person. Join us! Please share these events with other women who may be interested. Thank you! \nKinstone has some amazing sacred spaces and we like to use them as much as possible. We may gather in the large Stone Circle\, Three Witnesses circle\, Star Gazer Circle\, Circle of Mystery or other outdoor sacred place at Kinstone (weather permitting). When the pandemic is no longer an issue we can meet inside our beautiful education center when the weather is not cooperative. Until then\, we will cancel the event in bad weather. \nFor more information\, please see the following links which are inspirational and instrumental in the organization of our circle: internationalwomensday.com. \n  \n\nUpcoming 2021 Kinstone Women’s Circle Event Dates\, Astrologies and Themes \nPlease note that we will update our website each month with specific event information for the monthly New Moon gathering. Specific reflections are made available about 1 week prior to each meeting date. We also create a Facebook event each month that announces the date we will meet\, the theme and more information. Check out our published events on the Kinstone Circle Facebook page. \nFriday\, July 9 – Cancer:  Ancestral Healing: I heal the past\, present\, and future (actual New Moon is July 9) \nSaturday\, August 7 – Leo: Fearlessly Me: I choose to be seen (actual New Moon is August 8) \nFriday\, September 10 – Virgo: The Great Mother: I am her daughter\, Holy and Sovereign (actual New Moon is September 6) \nFriday\, October 8 – Libra: Restoring Balance: I heal the masculine and feminine within (actual New Moon is October 6) \nOn-Your-Own Event: Thursday\, November 4 – Scorpio: Sacred Sexuality: My pleasure\, my power  (If it is super nice weather we might schedule an in-person circle for Friday\, November 5 – keep an eye on this website and our FB page for updates on this.) \nOn-Your-Own Event: Saturday\, December  4 – Sagittarius: The Heroine’s Journey: I’m the one I’ve been waiting for \n\nReminder: There are no in person gatherings for the Kinstone New Moon women’s circles during November\, December\, January\, and February plus any months that weather or pestilence prevent us from gathering in person. We post “On-Your-Own Events” for these months with insights and information you can use to honor the new moon on your own. \nPhoto credit: Kristine Beck

SUMMARY:Beginner's Eye: A Contemplative Photography Experience
DESCRIPTION:SPECIAL NOTE Regarding COVID: We are planning to run this mostly outdoor course with a limited class size to allow for proper social distancing and personal space both indoors and out. The land is lush and lovely\, the stones are standing in a sea of green – just waiting for you to come see it anew with your eyes and camera lens! Bring your own lunch and snacks!\nExplore how the lens of a camera can allow us to see things in ways that we may have otherwise missed.\nJoin Thomas Roberts for this fun\, contemplative/meditation experience that utilizes photography to slow us down and enable us to see our world in novel and original ways. Beginner’s Eye allows us to uncover shape\, color\, texture and beauty that are normally hidden from view. No photographic experience necessary!! \nBeginner’s Eye is based on the Zen notion of  “beginner’s mind” – that open and spacious place when we are completely receptive\, fearless\, totally present and connected to the wonder of each moment. This practice offers a pure\, clear\, seeing where everything is fresh and new. \nCultivating Beginner’s Eye deepens our connection with our true selves and the world around us. You do not need to be a photographer in order to practice contemplative photography. Contemplative photography is not a type of photography as is\, for example\, landscape or macro photography. It is not about having the right lens or the best camera\, or following guidelines about composition and light\, but rather\, it is about the interaction of our inner being with the object in the viewfinder. Using the camera as an extension of our inner vision\, contemplative photography focuses our attention and holds our awareness\, making it a mindful act and a way to nourish within us the integral practice of abiding mindfulness. \nThe open\, sacred landscape and intentional spaces at Kinstone make it a perfect place for a day of focused attention on awareness and vision. It is not about what you see; rather how you see it. Practicing seeing with a “beginner’s eye” will help you notice things in the world as if seeing them for the first time. This experience can be profoundly life changing. \nPre-registration is required\, as space is limited. The workshop is expected to fill. \nDate: Saturday\, June 5\, 2021 \nTime: 9:00am to 6:00pm (Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early!) \nCost:    $65 EARLY BIRD – must register by May 15;  $75 after May 15  :  No refunds. \nAdmission fee includes instruction and slideshow of final photography selections. \n  \nLimited attendance! Sign up early to reserve your spot. No refunds. \nAdditional details: This course will be held Rain or Shine. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes. \nDescription: \nThe morning is a time of learning through an introduction\, meditation\, and initial practice time. The afternoon begins with time outside creating photographs. Mid-afternoon we will settle down with the images we gathered and work on writing our own Haiku poetry to complement one or more of our photos. While the instructor prepares a slideshow of selected photos and Haiku from each participant\, the participants will have free time to walk about Kinstone. We gather again to enjoy the final slideshow featuring everyone’s work and wrap up with discussion and sharing. \nGeneral Schedule \n– What is Beginner’s Eye and what does photography have to do with it\n– Slideshow of examples of Beginner’s Eye photography\n– Meditations on seeing with clarity: Letting go of fears\, judgments\, expectations\n– The world through the viewfinder: Practice how to see\n– Haiku: simple\, short form poetry; word-play inspired by images\n– Lunch break (BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH)\n– Heading out with our camera to see with clear eyes and mind\n– Return: Time to contemplate our photographs and compose haikus\n– Choose 1 or more photographs and accompanying Haikus for the group slideshow\n– Walk about Kinstone while the slideshow is prepared\n– Slideshow!\n– Discussion and Closure \nNote: This is a contemplative retreat day in which you bring along a camera (even a cell phone camera is fine!) and take photos of what you see. To be clear\, this is not a photography workshop\, i.e.\, no photographic techniques will be taught. No photographic experience is necessary; however\, if you have photographic experience you may find the practice of Beginner’s Eye enhances your work and your new awareness may manifest itself in your photographs. \nWhat to bring: \n\nA willingness to be open and creative\nA digital camera; if you have an DSLR\, bring only one lens\, and yes\, point-and-shoot cameras and even cell phone cameras are perfectly acceptable (NOTE: if your camera or phone has a data transfer cable\, please bring it along as it can be helpful to get your photos transferred to a designated computer for the final slide show.)\nBring a thumb drive to easily transfer the final slideshow if you wish to have a copy to take home.\nDress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes\nA blanket or pillow to sit on\, if you wish\, for your comfort; chairs will be available to all\nYour own lunch and snacks \nYour own water bottle / travel mug. Note: water\, coffee and tea will be provided; and we encourage you to bring your own water bottle/travel mug to drink from. This is a sustainable practice we promote for all events at Kinstone. If you forget yours\, don’t worry\, we’ve got you covered!\n\nAbout your instructor: Thomas Roberts \nThomas (“Tom”) Roberts has nearly 50 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychotherapist. \nFor the past 4 decades\, Tom has used a camera to hone his ability to see the beauty of our world. He has become\, in his words\, an “advanced amateur photographer” and has learned to portray the wonder of the ordinary in ways that become extraordinary through photographs. Further\, he has practiced writing haiku\, a short form of Japanese poetry based on simple\, yet often profound\, observations of the everyday world\, to go with his photos. \nHis “Beginners Eye” approach draws on his personal experience of contemplative photography as a spiritual practice  and the innate wonder of the world to help us develop our capacity of seeing and reconnecting with our true selves and our own intimate relationship to the world in which we live. \n  \nRefund Policy:  There are no refunds. If you sign up and then determine you cannot attend; you may offer your spot to another individual if you wish.

SUMMARY:ON-YOUR-OWN EVENT! April New Moon REFLECTIONS
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT: This is NOT an actual event and will not be held at any designated place and time. Please do not come to Kinstone for this event.\n\n\n \n\n\nTHIS IS a PLACEHOLDER FOR YOU for the April New Moon – please use the theme and information below to help you celebrate and  honor the new moon from your own place\, on your own time\, and in your own way this month!  (Note: we discontinued the use of the word “virtual” as that was misleading to some people.)\n\n\nApril Theme: Fierce Love: I stand in my power with clear boundaries \nAstrology: Aries \nKeywords: Devoted\, dreamy\, psychic\, emotional\, imaginative\, feeling\, tender\, mystical\, kind\, altruistic \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month (modified from provided Global Sisterhood resources): \nNot only are we seeing a global rise in social justice movements\, gender equality\, and climate change advocacy\, collectively we are experiencing a rise in awareness and remembrance of our interconnectedness with earth and each other.  All over the world\, we are observing the systems that are not serving the greater good\, and we are taking responsibility for the ways we uphold these systems through our beliefs\, actions\, or inactions. \nBut\, what is it that is provoking that awareness? FIERCE LOVE. Mother Earth\, is speaking. Collectively\, we are learning to stand for our truth\, speak our needs\, and not back down even if that means people are uncomfortable or upset by us. \nThis work begins inward\, on the personal level. As within\, so without. This theme is about getting honest about where you are not speaking or honoring needs met and therefore living in disconnection from your truth and from source. It’s about where you might even be lying to yourself to please or keep an air of harmony. \n\nIs there a conversation you need to have?\nIs there a scary ask you need to make?\nWhere can you honor your needs so you can be more energetically resourced and give from the overflow?\n\nBoundaries are strongly related to honesty and the ever-going\, ever-changing process of learning to truly love ourselves. In this theme\, we are called to the power of love within us. The fierce love demonstrated by the sign of Aries asks us how we can rise to protect ourselves\, our families\, and our Earth. It shows us that to stand in our power and to claim our boundaries is not an act of rebellion\, it’s an act of reverence.  \nThis theme will help us explore how we can grow into a sacred protectress of truth\, love\, harmony\, and justice. This journey begins in our own hearts\, trickles into our relationships\, and then impacts the world at large. This is about power with\, and not power over. No one has power over you\, you are the creator of your reality. \nThoughts about the Aries Astrological Forecast \nAs the first sign in the zodiac\, the presence of Aries always marks the spark of new beginnings. With its raw primal fire\, the sign of Aries holds the energy of leadership\, directness\, power\, clarity\, and at times it can be turbulent and combative. When this combative force is in balance with the purity of heart\, it can act as a fiercely loving eradicator of negative karma and cycles. \nThe Aries energy shakes to awaken. It’s fire is akin to using a blow torch to illuminate ways of being that are no longer serving our Truth. This fire will also help illuminate a way forward and push you to start a new way of being that if practiced will likely remain for years due to the helpful hand of Saturn in Aquarius. This moon is inviting you to take a fierce inventory of where you are allowing others to dominate\, where you are leaking energy\, and where you are ready to draw lines in the sand. This sign may tempt you to want to place blame on others\, but it is always about radical self-responsibility. You are the owner of your response. You have the right to choose your boundaries and it is your responsibility to verbalize them. \nYou may want to examine where you are holding on to the fear of rejection\, being disliked\, or abandoned. You can use the rituals in this document to help you explore where this might be coming from\, and the old stories of where it comes from. You will have an ability to harness the energy of Chiron plus the raw power of the Aries new moon to heal some old wounds and enter into a new cycle. Use this window wisely! \nFear cannot stand in your way during this fiery new moon\, remember who owns your power\, YOU. When you do this it will allow this energy to become a much-needed reclamation of your fullness! Fierce boundaries will be necessary so you can create your alchemical container for transformation as you reclaim your worth. \nReflections and Suggestions \nBelow are 6 easy ways to fortify your energetic field and boundaries: \n\nOnly dive into the news or media when you are grounded\, clear\, and emotionally stable. Do not retrigger yourself over and over again.\nSpend time outside every day. Yes\, go for a walk without your phone in hand. Spend time in nature and breathe her energy into your energetic body. Let her replenish you.\nSpend time caring for your inner world. Meditate\, journal\, pray and do breathwork.\nRelease: Shake it out\, babe. Move your body through dance\, make crazy noises\, scream or sing. You do not have to be put together all the time. In fact\, trying to be will make you feel anxious and unsettled on the inside which will make you more energetically sensitive to emotional lows.\nImagine your light globe and plug up leaky energy. You have an energetic body around you. Close your eyes and use your senses and inner vision to feel and see the light globe around you. Imagine fortifying it with more light from the love of your heart or from the heart of the universe. Breathe into the edges of your auric field and feel yourself expand.\nSpend time feeling. Don’t avoid your feelings by distracting yourself. Create a safe space yourself by laying your hands on your womb and heart and breathing with what you feel.\n\nDiscussion Questions: \n\nWhat is an example of Fierce Love? Perhaps you have witnessed it in nature\, a guru\, teacher\, or your mother or grandmother?\nWhen you think of the word “power” — what do you think of?\nWhat fear comes up for you when you think about setting a boundary with someone in your life?\nWhere are you leaking your energy in comparison\, and what boundary can you set for yourself to stop that habit?\nDescribe a situation where you need to set clear boundaries or speak your truth. How would you feel if you did this?\nIn what situations do you feel shame\, or like you need to hide yourself to make yourself smaller? What is one action step to remedy this?\nWhat practices in your life most empower you? (Examples: a spiritual practice\, exercise\, self care\, sister time\, meditation)\nHow would owning your worth and creating clear boundaries impact your career\, internal self-talk\, and relationships?\n\nVisualizations to add into the Heart Meditation for this New Moon:  \n\nEnvision every person on this planet awakening to the truth of their infinite worth.\nImagine every person knowing that they are worthy of being here\, of being happy\, of being fulfilled\, of being abundant\, and of being loved.\nSense the impact of every man\, woman\, and child knowing that their unique essence is important here\, and that they BELONG.\nEnvision every person on this planet awakening to the truth of their divine eternal nature; blame and egoic battles naturally dissolving as we step into our true power.\nEnvision in your life and community\, all women claiming their authentic power\, by recognizing their worth\, setting appropriate boundaries\, speaking their truth\, and courageously taking initiative for bold change.\nFeel and see yourself as a sacred protectress. Feel your loving fierceness\, worthiness\, and commitment to giving yourself what you need to thrive\, as you stand with passionate confidence on behalf of all women of the world.\nEnvision and feel us becoming powerful with each other\, through clear boundaries\, self-responsibility\, and claiming needs\, a gift to ourselves\, families\, and world.\n\nCLOSING: \n“To rise is to awaken\nTo the love that dwells within\nThis love is the key to the mental cage\nThat kept your power locked away\nThis love is the key to freedom\nBut to use this key you must be fierce\nIt’s time to stand in your power\nDespite all your many fears\nGo ahead now\, sister\, and boldly state your worth\nWith gratitude demand\nAll that you deserve\nFor yourself and for you family\nFor your neighbor and your friend\nFor the one who doesn’t look or act like you\nAnd for the ones still locked within.”\n-Lauren Elizabeth Walsh \n\nUpcoming 2021 Kinstone Women’s Circle Event Dates\, Astrologies and Themes: \nTuesday\, May 11 – Taurus: Empowered Beauty: My body\, my rules \nThursday\, June 10 – Gemini: Free the Voice: I speak and share my truth \nFriday\, July 9 – Cancer:  Ancestral Healing: I heal the past\, present\, and future \nSunday\, August 8 – Leo: Fearlessly Me: I choose to be seen \nMonday\, September 6 (Labor Day) – Virgo: The Great Mother: I am her daughter\, Holy and Sovereign \nWednesday\, October 6 – Libra: Restoring Balance: I heal the masculine and feminine within \nVirtual Event: Thursday\, November 4 – Scorpio: Sacred Sexuality: My pleasure\, my power \nVirtual Event: Saturday\, December  4 – Sagittarius: The Heroine’s Journey: I’m the one I’ve been waiting for \n  \nReminder: There are no in person gatherings for the Kinstone New Moon women’s circles during November\, December\, January\, and February plus any months that weather or pestilence prevent us from gathering in person. SUMMARY:First Sunrise of Spring - Vernal Equinox Sunrise Observance
DESCRIPTION:Spring Equinox Morning Observance\nWatch the Sunrise Alignment Enlighten the Heart Stone \nIMPORTANT: This event will be held as scheduled so as long as the weather is good and there are no further mandates regarding COVID-19. We will be outdoors and avoid standing close together\, and we will stand and watch the sunrise! If the weather is bad\, we will cancel – watch for final updates on the day of the event. The Education Center will NOT be open during this event and there will be no available restroom facilities or place to get warm. Come prepared! \nWe will welcome the first sunrise of Spring together as we watch the Vernal Equinox sunrise alignment here at Kinstone. \nVernal (Spring) Equinox is an astronomically significant solar event. It occurs when the sun is midpoint in its journey from Winter Solstice to Summer Solstice. The sun appears to rise at due east and set at due west. It is traditionally seen as a time of balance. The light of day and the dark of night are equal. It is a harbinger of spring; a time for new beginnings\, growth\, and seeking the joy of the light. \nTRADITIONAL INFO: The Celtic Wheel of the Year and other pagan traditions call this day “Ostara”. Ostara originates from celebrations dedicated to the German goddess Eostre. This is considered to be a precursor to the Christian celebration of Easter. The beginning of spring\, Vernal Equinox / Ostara is a good time to plant seeds – both literally and figuratively. This is also good time to begin acting on the intentions you set during Winter Solstice (Yule\, Dec 2o-22) and St. Brigid’s Day (Imbolc\, Feb 1). The seeds you plant at Vernal Equinox/Ostara will be ready for harvest during the warmer months and the sacred days of  May Day (Beltane\, May 1-5)\, Summer Solstice (Litha\, June 20-22) and  celebrations of the first harvest (Lughnasadh\, August 1). \nAt Kinstone we have a unique alignment visible only at Equinox at sunrise. Stand with us in The Three Witnesses sculpture as the sun aligns through the Equinox Window and highlights the Heart Stone. Come and see! \nCOST: admission to Kinstone ($5/person) (pay in advance online OR place your cash admission in the Blue Payment Box attached to the Information Sign Board near the parking areas); No Registration Required \nDate: Saturday\, March 20   Time: 6:30am \nActual sunrise is expected at 7:14am for our location. However\, with the topography specific to Kinstone\, the time we witness it may be just a bit later! Come at 6:30 to enjoy the predawn horizons and our brief program before the sun rises! \n\n\n This will be a quiet\, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading to welcome Spring. After the reading\, if the sun is visible\, participants may wish to watch the alignment through the Equinox Window\, see the heart highlighted in the center stone Witness\, sit in the light of the sun\, take photos\, and greet the sunrise. \nDress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear\, jackets\, scarves\, hats and gloves! \n\nHAPPY SPRING! \nInteresting fact: The exact time of the astronomical Vernal Equinox is Saturday\, March 20\, 2021\, at 4:37am CDT.   \nPhoto credit: Kristine Beck

SUMMARY:Last Sunset of Winter - Vernal Equinox Sunset Observance
DESCRIPTION:Spring Equinox Evening Observance\nWatch the Sunset Alignment and Try to Catch the Sun! The Education Center will be open during this event for up to 10 people at a time to those wearing a mask. Come prepared! \nWe will say farewell to Winter as we watch its last sunset together the evening before the actual celestial equinox event. Join us to celebrate the warming of the Earth and the long awaited time for putting out new growth from the long winter’s root work that has been underway. \nSpring (Vernal) Equinox is an astronomically significant solar event. \nCOST: admission to Kinstone ($5/person) (pay in advance online OR place your cash admission in the Blue Payment Box attached to the Information Sign Board near the parking areas); No Registration Required \nDate: Friday\, March 19   Time: 6:30pm – 7:30pm \nActual sunset is expected at 7:23pm for our location. However\, with the topography specific to Kinstone\, the time we witness it is always just a bit earlier than expected! Come at 6:30 and enjoy the last light of winter before the sun sets! \n\n\nThis will be a quiet\, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading to send Winter off with a flourish. Given fair weather and clear skies as the sun sets in the West\, we will witness the light as it passes through the “Wise One” (Lancelot) and enlightens the “World” (Atlas). If the sunlight is strong enough and unobstructed by clouds on the horizon\, we will see a line of polka-dots on Atlas and a select few folks may be able to “catch the sun” as it aligns with the perforations in Lancelot. We will begin watching for opportunities to Catch the Sun immediately after our readings. If the sun is visible\, participants may wish to try to “catch the sun”\, take photos\, and watch the sun go down as we say farewell to Winter. \nDress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear\, jackets\, scarves\, hats and gloves! Bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on\, for your comfort\, if you wish. Be prepared for it to be breezy and cool up here on the ridge! (Most people underestimate the wind and cold.) \nThis event is outdoors and will be held only in good weather. Cancellations will be posted ONLY on THIS event page and on the corresponding Facebook event page at least one (1) hour before the scheduled start time for this event. \n\nIMPORTANT: If you wish to ensure your chance to “catch the sun”\, please Contact Us to sign up by sending an email stating “I want to catch the sun” and include your full name and email address with the subject “Catch the sun”. During this event\, guests who have signed up will be invited\, in order of sign-up time\, to catch the sun as and if weather and sunlight conditions permit. As many as we can get through will be given a chance to be photographed with their hands catching the sun – bring a friend who can be your photographer! \n\nHAPPY SPRING! \nInteresting fact: The exact time of the astronomical Vernal Equinox is Saturday\, March 20\, 2021\, at 4:37am CDT.  \nPhoto credit: Kristine Beck

SUMMARY:VIRTUAL EVENT! March New Moon REFLECTIONS
DESCRIPTION: THIS IS A VIRTUAL EVENT\, a PLACEHOLDER FOR YOU for the March New Moon – please use the theme and information below to help you celebrate and  honor the new moon from your own place\, on your own time\, and in your own way this month! Please do not come to Kinstone for this virtual event.\n\n\nMarch Theme: Feminine Intelligence: I trust my intuitive wisdom \nAstrology: Pisces \nKeywords: Devoted\, dreamy\, psychic\, emotional\, imaginative\, feeling\, tender\, mystical\, kind\, altruistic \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month (modified from provided Global Sisterhood resources): \nHumanity is now awakening to the necessary balance that the life-giving feminine force brings. It is becoming known more and more in the hearts of all humanity that Feminine Intelligence is necessary for global healing and our very survival. Unsustainable systems based on an over-exaltation of the masculine are being humbled and giving way to a movement that honors the earth\, the feminine\, and all life. We are now experiencing a revival of Feminine Intelligence. \nWe are living in a powerful time where each one of us has the opportunity to support our cultural paradigm shift. Dominant masculine strengths must be brought into balance with the feminine strengths to restore wholeness and integrity to our internal and external systems. For too long we have valued the material\, logical and quantitative over the more subtle\, but very powerful unseen life energies. It’s time to enter a dimension of perception through gifts that are more commonly found in women but live within all. Such feminine strengths include compassion\, listening\, intuition\, equanimity\, and emotional wisdom. Through honoring our intuition and feminine gifts\, we rise as empowered healers\, teachers\, leaders\, and way-showers. \nThoughts about the Pisces Astrological Forecast \nWith the transition from Aquarius to Pisces season\, a significant amount of energy moves from our minds to our hearts. As we enter a world of unexplainable feelings and sensations\, we are invited to connect to the collective emotional state and needs. \nWhile Aquarius correlates to the circulation of fluids and the electrical charges in our body\, Pisces rules the realms of dreams and sleeps. Pisces has been associated with the pineal gland\, considered the seat of intuition and psychic abilities in several spiritual and esoteric traditions. \nNow is a time to connect with the Feminine Intelligence within you\, and choosing to allow your body’s wisdom\, and life’s guidance\, to unfold. Compassion\, empathy\, and cooperation are supported and highlighted by this new moon — and it is a powerful time to let go of any doubt you have in your intuition or emotions. The energy of Pisces holds within it incredible feminine wisdom\, so this time is also ideal to cultivate your spiritual connection. \nDiscussion Questions: \n\nThink of a situation in your life when your intuition was right on. Did you follow it? Did you go against it? What happened?\nHow would the world be different if our leaders chose to follow their hearts and listen to Feminine Intelligence when making decisions?\nHave you ever experienced a gut feeling\, known you feel the presence of a higher truth\, or felt the presence of guides or angels? What are the sensations you get when you KNOW something is right? What about when you know something is wrong?\nIn the last few months\, have you been listening to your intuitive feelings and your emotions? Have you been prioritizing Masculine Intelligence over Feminine Intelligence?\nClose your eyes for a moment. What does your intuition have to tell you right now?\n\nVisualizations to add into the Heart Meditation for this New Moon:  \n\nEnvision each girl being raised with a profound connection to the power of her emotions\, her intuition\, and her unique wisdom.\nImagine the deep sense of confidence that arises from trusting in your intuitive wisdom\, emotional depths\, and divine connection.\nSee your heart as a lantern\, illuminating each step\, as you follow an invisible path\, guided and protected by this unwavering internal light.\nFeel how powerful it is to rest in your inner-knowing\, no matter what the world thinks or says. You are at peace with yourself in the eye of the storm; in your feminine power.\nEnvision that everything in your life that feels heavy\, hard or difficult is shifting form through your intention to trust your intuition and the wisdom of your heart\, body\, and soul.\nKnowing you have this capacity\, feel yourself gracefully stepping into leadership — in your family\, community\, work\, or wherever feels most natural — and allowing your Feminine Intelligence and intuitive wisdom to fill your heart with trust\, ease\, courage\, and grace.\nRest deeper into your center\, trusting that you are a natural leader\, being guided by intuition you easily overcome obstacles\, support your loved ones from a nourished place\, and fulfill your mission with joy and pleasure.\nEnvision yourself and every woman in your community floating down the river of life with complete trust\, connected to the wisdom and guidance of yourself\, your body\, and the intelligence of life itself.\nSee every girl and every woman on this planet remembering her body’s wisdom and guidance\, and trusting in herself so much that she takes each step on her path with confidence.\nEnvision a shift in global culture where all forms of Feminine Intelligence are deeply honored\, respected\, and listened to.\n\nNext Steps \n\nChoose a current issue or aspect of your life that you want to receive guidance on from your intuition. Set up a sacred space and breathe deeply with intention. Free-write a message from your intuition to yourself\, and see what messages appear. Make changes accordingly.\nTake time to feel into any sensations of pain or energetic blockages in your body\, and ask yourself what emotions these sensations are connected to. Allow yourself space to process these emotions and release them. Notice any wisdom\, epiphanies\, or a-ha moments that you receive along the way.\nPractice radical empathy by choosing a specific grudge\, judgment\, or comparison you have been holding onto — and consciously choose to let it go.\n\nCLOSING: \n“As the world turns\,\nWalking on this earth\,\nI feel blind\nUnaware of where I am going\nIn such tumultuous times\nFurther along my journey\nAfter stumbling around here and there\nI awaken to the thought\nThe spark\nThe hunch\nThe feeling within\nThat there is\, in fact\, a map\nA compass\,\nA guide\nA path for me to follow\nAnd all I need are internal eyes\nTo open\nTo trust\nTo perceive the truth\nOr rather sense the truth\nPounding within my heart\nAnd rushing through my veins\nThe pulse of nature\nMy nature\nOur Nature\nGod’s Nature\nOne nature\nTo which we all belong.\nThrough the eye of the heart\,\nWe find our way home.” ~Lauren Walsh \n\nUpcoming 2021 Kinstone Women’s Circle Event Dates\, Astrologies and Themes: \nLikely Virtual Event: Sunday\, April 11 – Aries: Fierce Love: I stand in my power with clear boundaries \nTuesday\, May 11 – Taurus: Empowered Beauty: My body\, my rules \nThursday\, June 10 – Gemini: Free the Voice: I speak and share my truth \nFriday\, July 9 – Cancer:  Ancestral Healing: I heal the past\, present\, and future \nSunday\, August 8 – Leo: Fearlessly Me: I choose to be seen \nMonday\, September 6 (Labor Day) – Virgo: The Great Mother: I am her daughter\, Holy and Sovereign \nWednesday\, October 6 – Libra: Restoring Balance: I heal the masculine and feminine within \nVirtual Event: Thursday\, November 4 – Scorpio: Sacred Sexuality: My pleasure\, my power \nVirtual Event: Saturday\, December  4 – Sagittarius: The Heroine’s Journey: I’m the one I’ve been waiting for \n  \nReminder: There are no in person gatherings for the Kinstone New Moon women’s circles during November\, December\, January\, and February plus any months that weather or pestilence prevent us from gathering in person. We post “Virtual Events” for these months with insights and information you can use to honor the new moon on your own. \nPhoto credit: Kristine Beck

SUMMARY:VIRTUAL EVENT! February New Moon REFLECTIONS
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT: This is NOT an actual event and will not be held at any designated place and time. Please do not come to Kinstone for this virtual event.\n\n\n \n\n\nTHIS IS A VIRTUAL EVENT\, a PLACEHOLDER FOR YOU for the February New Moon – please use the theme and information below to help you celebrate and  honor the new moon from your own place\, on your own time\, and in your own way this month!\n\n\nFebruary Theme: New Paradigm Leader: I share my gifts to awaken our world \nAstrology: Aquarius (Air sign) is ruled by Uranus and Saturn \nKeywords: curious\, imaginative\, generous\, humanitarian\, innovative\, inspired service\, purposeful\, revolutionary\, free-thinking \n  \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month (modified from provided Global Sisterhood resources): \n“Acting from love doesn’t always mean being nice\, being kind\, or being a peacemaker. Acting from love could be speaking up about something that is not being heard or taking fierce action. If you are speaking hard controversial truths from a place of love\, then you are acting from love. If you are taking fierce action or breaking the rules from a place of love\, you are acting from love. \nThere is rebel energy in the visionary and in the humanitarian. We must break free from social norms to innovate and create change. We can do this from love or we can do this from disrespect. If we act from love\, for love\, and in the name of love our actions will elevate consciousness and create change. Now\, more than ever it’s important to have compassion for the suffering in humanity. \nCompassion does not mean inaction… in fact\, it’s the opposite. The etymology breakdown is “com” “passion” or “with passion” Let’s share our love with passion. Let’s share empathy with passion. Let’s allow ourselves to be corrected with passion. Let’s take inspired action with passion. Let’s allow our passion for the awakening and healing of our world to fuel our daily actions. \nThis is what this month’s theme is all about.” \nThoughts about the Astrological Forecast \nThe Aquarian: \n\nThe word “Aquarius” comes from Latin meaning “water-carrier\, water-pourer.” Its astrological symbol represents water\, but looks like an electrical jolt.\nAquarius connects us to energies of originality\, eccentricity\, freedom\, radical expression\, and epiphanies of all sorts.\nIt craves innovation and orients us to the future and what is possible. When sparked\, it catalyzes creativity\, new insights\, or exciting novelty.\nActivated Aquarius energy in our society spurs technology breakthroughs\nYet Aquarius energy also compels us to consider social justice as part of the collective and communal experience.\n\nDiscussion Questions: \n\nWhat dream do you have for our world and how can you support it in becoming a realty?\nIf you could wave a magic wand and inspire in humans one core belief\, what would it be?\nWhat is broken with our current system and how can we evolve it?\nWhat is your medicine to offer the world?\nWhat do you think the world needs most at this time?\n\nHow can you embody this or in what small ways can you help it come into fruition?\n\n\nCreate your own question.\n\nVisualizations to add into the Heart Meditation for this New Moon:  \n\nImagine every woman’s dreams being honored as sacred\, important\, and revolutionary.\nEnvision every woman on this planet living her purpose and making her unique contribution to creating a better world for all. Imagine every woman knowing the power of her dreams.\nImagine humanity rising beyond day-to-day worries\, stresses\, and arguments as we tune into a greater mission\, recognizing we are on the same team and we are here to give back to this planet together.\nFeel the power and magic of every one of us harnessing our unique inner vision in service to others as we nurture solutions and innovate our world.\nEnvision yourself and each woman in our community feeling open\, compassionate\, and devoted as we step into being leaders and manifest epic lives and a beautiful new world. Envision us birthing it together in a way that feels most natural to our unique gifts and paths.\nIn this moment\, feel your care for humanity flowing through your body as you align with what you know you are being called to contribute\, tapping into your inspiration\, inner vision\, imagination\, and desire to give from a place of overflowing love.\n\nCLOSING: \n“As the world turns\, \nAnd the hours go by\, \nWe share this prayer \nFor our precious human life. \nWe are the water\, \nWe are the mothers\, \nThe daughters\, \nThe crones. \nWe are the eye of the storm\, \nAs visionaries of a new earth\, \nWe bring healing\, \nWe bring vision and direction\, \nWe are the bring the feminine essence; \nWe quench the deep thirst of this world. \nOur dreams and our visions are messages \nCodes within our DNA \nHere to illuminate and guide the way. \nWe are the rebels\, \nThe visionaries\, \nThe revolutionaries\, \nAnd caregivers.” \n  \n\nUpcoming 2021 Kinstone Women’s Circle Event Dates\, Astrologies and Themes: \nLikely Virtual Event: Monday\, March 8 – International Women’s Day:  <theme tba> \nLikely Virtual Event: Friday\, March 13 – Pisces: Feminine Intelligence: I trust my intuitive wisdom \nLikely Virtual Event: Sunday\, April 11 – Aries: Fierce Love: I stand in my power with clear boundaries \nTuesday\, May 11 – Taurus: Empowered Beauty: My body\, my rules \nThursday\, June 10 – Gemini: Free the Voice: I speak and share my truth \nFriday\, July 9 – Cancer:  Ancestral Healing: I heal the past\, present\, and future \nSunday\, August 8 – Leo: Fearlessly Me: I choose to be seen \nMonday\, September 6 (Labor Day) – Virgo: The Great Mother: I am her daughter\, Holy and Sovereign \nWednesday\, October 6 – Libra: Restoring Balance: I heal the masculine and feminine within \nVirtual Event: Thursday\, November 4 – Scorpio: Sacred Sexuality: My pleasure\, my power \nVirtual Event: Saturday\, December  4 – Sagittarius: The Heroine’s Journey: I’m the one I’ve been waiting for \n  \nReminder: There are no in person gatherings for the Kinstone New Moon women’s circles during November\, December\, January\, and February plus any months that weather or pestilence prevent us from gathering in person. SUMMARY:VIRTUAL EVENT! January New Moon REFLECTIONS
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT: This is NOT an actual event and will not be held at any designated place and time. Please do not come to Kinstone for this virtual event.\n\n\n \n\n\nTHIS IS A VIRTUAL EVENT\, a PLACEHOLDER FOR YOU for the January New Moon – please use the theme and information below to help you celebrate and  honor the new moon from your own place\, on your own time\, and in your own way this month!\n\n\nJanuary Theme: Self-Mastery: Every choice I make is aligned with my truth \nAstrology: Capricorn (Earth sign\, ruled by Saturn) \nKeywords: Dependable\, sophisticated\, resourceful\, wise\, responsible\, loyal\, disciplined\, patient\, ambitious\, practical\, cautious \n  \nBecause Capricorn is a very resourceful\, wise\, responsible\, and ambitious sign\, this new moon invites us to remember the importance of being devoted to what makes us feel alive and to build structures to support our vitality. \n  \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month (modified from provided Global Sisterhood resources): \nCapricorn’s energy lends us the perfect balance between discipline and devotion\, and developing self-love and self-work as a sacred practice. Many of us often schedule our days based around “shoulds” and “have to’s”\, the beauty of this month’s theme is how it reveals that we all have the opportunity to explore a different way of navigating through life. \nDo you ever feel beholden to others expectations and needs? Whether familial or work-related\, it’s easy to get in the trap of having to do\, act\, or be a certain way. When we don’t make choices aligned with what’s true for us on a psycho-spiritual level\, we lose our own alignment which drains us of energy\, inspiration\, and flow. This especially applies to the small\, seemingly unimportant decisions we make daily. When we make these tiny choices out of being beholden to others\, “shoulds” or “have to’s” regarding a social expectation\, or a limiting belief system we build ourselves a cage without meaning to. \nThe action we are invited to explore this new moon is simply this:\nSlow down\,\nTake a deep breath\,\nCheck in by asking…\n“Is this in my highest alignment?” \nThen be courageous enough to admit the truth to yourself and stand in it\, even if it doesn’t make rational sense. \nFor this new moon\, we dare you to give yourself one full lunar cycle\, 28.5 days\, to explore what happens when you live this way. What changes? What opens up for you? \nSelf-Mastery requires unplugging from the matrix\, or the conditioned “conventional” way of doing things. You are invited to trust that you can move through life 100% aligned with what is in your highest good. It will take practice\, surrender\, trust\, and courage to deviate from your standard way of operating. Together\, as a sisterhood\, let’s find the courage knowing that we are together. We are paving a path that is not riddled with martyrdom\, but instead a path where everyone experiences joy and success. Welcome\, sister\, to the new moon in Capricorn. \n  \nThoughts about the Capricorn Astrological Forecast \nThis new moon brings a powerful energy towards all the ways we structure and organize our lives\, including routines and processes that help us move forward in our healing and day-to-day lives. Utilize this time wisely to both go within and celebrate with abundant gratitude how much you have learned and how far you have come! \nSister\, YOU COME FIRST this new moon. Your intentions\, your desires\, your wisdom\, your hopes\, your dreams\, your plans\, and your soul all want to be prioritized. Be sure to create time for yourself\, because your self-love and self-growth work are highlighted by this new moon’s energy. \nLiving an aligned life requires presence\, attentiveness\, and also organization. Prioritize what feels good to you. \n  \nReflections and Suggestions \n6-STEP PROCESS FOR FINDING RIGHT ALIGNMENT \n1. Slow down and breathe\n2. Connect with spirit\n3. Bring the subject in question to your heart and mind\n4. Ask “Is doing _______ aligned with my highest truth”?\n5. Listen by feeling into your body\, notice what sensations your body tells you.\n6. If you get a clear yes\, then proceed. If you get a clean no\, don’t do it\, if you get an unclear answer try this process again later or take time before making a decision. \n  \nHEALING OLD PATTERNS \n\nOne of the secrets to lasting change is digging deep and choosing to integrate the wisdom of the lesson\, it is something that came to teach us. To truly heal from our past\, we must forgive ourselves so we can forge a new way.\nWe often carry shame from our past mistakes\, so we will often make the mistake again in some other way until we learn to forgive.\nForgiving ourselves requires that we feel what’s happening in our emotional realm and use our heartbreak as medicine. We must understand why we made the choices we did. It’s usually not a choice we made on our own\, but a choice we made as a result of upbringing\, our ancestral trauma\, and our conditioning. When we realize this we can deeply forgive ourselves.\nFrom there\, it’s important to share with someone what you’ve been keeping inside. This will help you make new choices in the future.\nHow do we do this? You must understand how that old pattern or way of being was serving you. Then\, reflect on that part of yourself and shift that part of yourself that\, in a way\, was addicted to getting something out of the pattern. Next — and this part is important — choose to receive WISDOM from the old habit you are releasing so that you are moving forward healed\, whole\, and wiser because of it!\n\n  \nDiscussion Questions: \n\nHow do you desire to feel as you go throughout your day? What actions support you in feeling that way?\nWhat tasks do you do during the day that steal your joy? Is there any way you can delegate\, not do\, or find a way to bring more joy into the task?\nWhat agreements\, contracts\, obligations\, or commitments have you made that you’re ready to burn\, compost\, or re-write? How do these need to shift in order to be aligned with your current soul’s needs\, values\, and priorities?\nWhat does your soul desire to bring forth this new year? Listen deeply as you answer this question — you may surprise yourself.\nWhat are your favorite self-love practices? What are your favorite self-reflection practices? What are your favorite solo practices for inner-work and healing?\n\n  \nVisualizations to add into the Heart Meditation for this New Moon:  \n\nImagine every single woman remembering the importance of her growth and inner work.\nImagine every woman choosing to walk the path of self-mastery in a way that is completely authentic to her own heart and soul.\nEnvision yourself and every woman in our community feeling powerful and courageous as each claims the space needed for inner reflection – for discipline and devotion – as we intentionally step into the new year.\nAllow yourself to release all that holds you back and distracts you from your powerful wisdom and path of healing; feel the clarity\, freedom\, and spaciousness that comes when you allow that.\nFeel how your inner work and self-love serve the collective consciousness.\nIn this moment\, feel yourself and every woman on the planet cultivating wisdom through the art of self-reflection\, integration\, and healing so that each can share her gifts and magic with the world.\nBring this intention into your heart\, surrounding it with light and love.\nWith a deep breath\, imagine sending it into the earth below\, like a seed being planted. Feel it blossoming.\nBring your hands to your heart and feel your heartbeat. Take a deep breath and gently open your eyes.\n\n  \nCLOSING POEM (written by Lauren Elizabeth Walsh of the Global Sisterhood): \n“Oh Sweet Divine\,\nExhaling into you\, I sigh…\nI sing..\nI whisper\nHoping to silence my mind\nTrusting that truth is always here\nIn the middle\nIn the breath\nIn the light\nIn my choices.\nOh my choices!\nMy choice to be brave\nMy choice to expand\nMy choice to explore\nTo surrender to the waves of the sea\nThe sea of life with all its vigor\ndepths\nlightness\ntides\npulls\ndangers\nrisks\nteachings\nhealings.\nHow ever do I navigate?\nIs it by the stars?\nWhat if it’s a cloudy night…\nIn my mind…\nSo much clutter in my mind.\nHow do I trust the winds\nAs they blow wherever they might blow?\nHow do I just let them tell me where to go?\nI trust in my YES\nI trust in my NO\nI let go…\nI let go…\nI let go…” \n  \n\nUpcoming 2021 Kinstone Women’s Circle Event Dates\, Astrologies and Themes: \nVirtual Event: Friday\, February 11 – Aquarius: New Paradigm Leader: I share my gifts to awaken our world \nLikely Virtual Event: Monday\, March 8 – International Women’s Day:  <theme tba> \nLikely Virtual Event: Friday\, March 13 – Pisces: Feminine Intelligence: I trust my intuitive wisdom \nLikely Virtual Event: Sunday\, April 11 – Aries: Fierce Love: I stand in my power with clear boundaries \nTuesday\, May 11 – Taurus: Empowered Beauty: My body\, my rules \nThursday\, June 10 – Gemini: Free the Voice: I speak and share my truth \nFriday\, July 9 – Cancer:  Ancestral Healing: I heal the past\, present\, and future \nSunday\, August 8 – Leo: Fearlessly Me: I choose to be seen \nMonday\, September 6 (Labor Day) – Virgo: The Great Mother: I am her daughter\, Holy and Sovereign \nWednesday\, October 6 – Libra: Restoring Balance: I heal the masculine and feminine within \nVirtual Event: Thursday\, November 4 – Scorpio: Sacred Sexuality: My pleasure\, my power \nVirtual Event: Saturday\, December  4 – Sagittarius: The Heroine’s Journey: I’m the one I’ve been waiting for \n  \nReminder: There are no in person gatherings for the Kinstone New Moon women’s circles during November\, December\, January\, and February plus any months that weather or pestilence prevent us from gathering in person. SUMMARY:Winter Solstice Sunrise Observance 2020
DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate the passing of the seasons from Autumn to Winter. Come acknowledge the Winter Solstice by watching the sunrise with us and seeing the alignment in the Great Stone Circle at Kinstone! This will be a quiet\, meditative event with a short opening rite and reading to help us welcome Winter and send Autumn on its way with blessings. \nCOST: Free\, No Registration Required. Free will donations appreciated! \nDate: Monday\, December 21\, 2020  Time: 7:00 am – 8:00am  (Sunrise Gathering) \nIMPORTANT: Due to COVID we will NOT meet in the Education Center! We will hold a short program OUTDOORS near the Porch of the Education Center Building starting at 7am. Depending on snow levels and weather we will then decide if we go out to the circle or not. Weather and snow conditions permitting\, we will proceed together to the center of the Great Stone Circle. Given fair weather and clear skies\, we will watch the sun as it crests the ridge and beams through the Chair Stones to light up anyone standing in the middle of the circle. Note: Actual sunrise is at 7:38am and given the topography at Kinstone it will be closer to 7:50am when we may see the sun from the center of the circle. \nThis event is planned to be held outdoors ONLY.  It will be cancelled in case of snow storm or bad weather. Please note that we will not see the alignment if it is cloudy or if the horizon is obstructed by morning mist\, fog\, rain\, snow or clouds. If it is raining or snowing\, or if the snow on the ground is too deep for walking through\, we will CANCEL.  Cancellations will be posted on THIS event page and on the corresponding Facebook event page at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time for this event. \nDress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear\, boots\, scarves\, hats\, extra layers and gloves! Expect it to be colder and windier than you think! Be prepared to walk some distance through snow and on uneven (perhaps icy) paths to get to the circle! \nParking is limited – especially in winter. Please park in the small lot by the Education Center (Staff Parking area)\, park as closely to others as possible to make enough room for all. Note: we highly discourage parking along the road\, however; if you absolutely must park along the road due to snow in our Staff and Visitor Parking areas\, please make sure you put on your 4-way flashing lights while parked there for this short event. \nCancellation will occur in case of a major storm. Cancellations will be posted on THIS event page and on the corresponding Facebook event page at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time for this event. \n[Interesting fact: The exact time of the astronomical 2020 Winter Solstice is Saturday\, December 21\, 2020 at 4:02am CST.] \nPhoto credit: Kristine Beck

SUMMARY:VIRTUAL EVENT! December New Moon REFLECTIONS
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT: This is NOT an actual event and will not be held at any designated place and time. Please do not come to Kinstone for this virtual event.\n\n\n \n\n\nTHIS IS A VIRTUAL EVENT\, a PLACEHOLDER FOR YOU for the December New Moon – please use the theme and information below to help you celebrate and  honor the new moon from your own place\, on your own time\, and in your own way this month!\n\n\nDecember Theme: The Heroine’s Journey: I am the one I’ve been waiting for \nAstrology: Sagittarius (Fire sign). Keywords: Expansive\, adventurous\, visionary\, enthusiastic\, open-minded\, freedom-loving\, independent\, philosophical\, search for wisdom. \n\nThoughts from our Global Sisterhood leaders for this month: \n“Sister\, have you ever felt incomplete or not enough? Have you ever found yourself waiting for another to see you so you can truly see yourself? What about waiting for someone to come and rescue or complete you? Have you ever felt that there is some place far off in the distance that you must get to in order to relax and fully enjoy who you are? \nWe tend to forget that we\, as women\, are channels of divine nectar\, the sweet source from which all life is born. We are the beginning and the end. Life begins with a woman gestating and giving birth\, and it ends with us returning our bodies to Mother Earth. We are made in her image\, and we hold her power\, truth\, and wholeness within us. This is the great mystery and secret that all hero’s go seeking — oneness with the source of all life — so that the hero can channel the power\, wisdom\, and grace of the universe to help him support the ones he cares for most. \nAs women\, we hold the profound secret of life\, creation\, and oneness within us\, but we forget. We forget because we’ve inherited through our ancestral lines\, thousands of years of conditioning that women’s power is insignificant in relation to men’s. This\, however\, is the biggest misunderstanding and distortion of humanities history. This illusion has caused generations of harm for both men and women. There are various effects resulting from this cause. One of which is that women were taught that we need to “prove” ourselves worthy of love\, pleasure\, safety\, loyalty and adoration. This couldn’t be further from the truth. We are love\, and we are the answer to all the emptiness and confusion that may present itself in and around us. \nWe are the answer we have been waiting for. We are the wise eyes to see and we are the medicine our world needs. \nFor this New Moon in Sagittarius\, we will remember that we are the heroines\, and our journey is both an inward journey and an outward journey of remembrance. You are already whole. You are the one you have been waiting for.” \nThoughts about the Saggitarius Astrological Forecast: \n“You may notice situations where you feel yourself giving your power away to be seen\, appreciated\, or liked. This is the perfect opportunity to turn inward and practice deeply seeing and loving yourself. This is the time to consciously consider what stories you or others might hold of you that seem old and perhaps untrue. You are invited to practice releasing these old beliefs about who you are or how you show up in your family or community\, and begin living in honor of your truth and authentic expression. Who are you? Who do you choose to be? You no longer need to feel restricted to the limitations of what you or others have always thought about you. It’s time now to turn inward and go on the deep and enriching journey of feeling into your authentic soul essence. Feel into your truth and all the emotions present. Do not run or hide from what is inside of you. The adventure inward will transform your outward reality. As we end this historical year of 2020\, you get to decide who you will be moving forward. As 2020 has shown\, a new era is upon us. Old rules are thrown out. It’s time to let go of old stereotypes and pressures\, and courageously follow the heroine’s journey of listening to your inner wisdom and showing up according to your authentic truth.” \nReflection prompts: \n\nWhen you deepen your breath and close your eyes\, can you feel a sense of wholeness and wellbeing? If not\, where do you feel a sense of incompletion?\nHow do you fill yourself with love and a sense of wholeness? What makes you feel complete?\nWhat does it feel like in your body to embrace that you are infinitely powerful and that all the answers are within you?\nWhat part of your life do you have the most disempowering story around? What emotions are lingering around that story that may be holding you back from transforming it into an empowering one?\nWhat parts of your story have you shied away from owning? What gifts do you suspect lie in wait there for you to claim? How might these gifts affect and influence your service in the world?\n\nDiscussion Questions: \n\nWhat stories or beliefs are you releasing that make you feel like something is lacking in your life? What inner stories or beliefs keep you from feeling whole in the present moment.\nPlease share about your journey as a heroine in your own life. What was something invaluable that you have learned about being a human being?\nDo you live life on your own terms or do you schedule your time and activities based on what you think you should be doing? Do you take time to refill your cup and connect with yourself deeply. If so\, how?\nWhen you catch yourself speaking negatively about your life\, your body\, or your capabilities\, what do you do? Share any tips and tricks with your sisters.\nName something troubling you in your life right now\, large or small. What story would you tell about this challenging situation\, as if you really were the main character in a children’s book?\nWhat expertise do you have from simply living life and learning through your heroine’s journey? How can you apply this expertise to teach\, heal\, impact\, or lead?\n\nVisualizations to add into the Heart Meditation for this December New Moon:  \n\nEnvision every little girl being raised knowing that she has the ability to heal herself through using her voice. She is the heroine of her own story\, and she can touch her community by sharing her story and her gifts.\nFeel the impact of every girl and every woman seeing themselves as heroines\, as we collectively break patterns of victimization and codependency\, and shift towards a deep sense of empowerment.\nImagine each woman confidently sharing her story\, her wisdom\, and the lessons of her life.\nEnvision girls growing up hearing these true stories of feminine empowerment and believing that no matter what unfolds in their lives\, they can heal\, rise\, and change the world.\nFeel deep peace and unity soothing our world as we all relax into deeply trusting the divine power within ourselves. Feel the infinite power of what is possible when we own our stories and choose to share them.\nEnvision yourself and every woman around the world feeling playful\, adventurous\, emboldened\, and courageous as we become the authors of our own lives and align with our most empowered selves.\nIn this moment\, feel yourself rooted in the knowing that you have everything you need to imagine and create a life of love\, confidence\, and service for yourself and your loved ones.\nBring this intention into your heart\, surrounding it with light and love.\nWith a deep breath\, imagine sending it into the earth below\, like a seed being planted. Feel it blossoming.\nBring your hands to your heart and feel your heartbeat. Take a deep breath and gently open your eyes.\n\nCLOSING POEM (provided by Global Sisterhood): \n“I am the daughter.\nI am the warrior\,\nThe temptress\, the mother\, the whore.\nI am a survivor\, a friend\, a lover\, a child.\nI lead\, I follow\, I fall\, and I rise\nOh how I rise\,\nAnd  rise again\,\nLike the sun that eternally awakens us from slumber.\nThank you Sun.\nThank you fire that burns in my soul.\nOh my soul!\nThis world has painted me a thousands faces\,\nBut which face will I choose as mine?\nToday\, I choose to be woman\,\nEverything that is encompassed in the mystery that is She.\nI am woman.\nI am the Heroine\,\nMy life is my great adventure.” \n  \nUpcoming 2020 Kinstone Women’s Circle Event Dates: \nTHIS IS THE LAST ONE FOR 2020 \nReminder: There are no in person gatherings for the Kinstone New Moon women’s circles during November\, December\, January\, and February. We post “Virtual Events” for these months instead for you to do on your own. \nOur next in person event will be on March 8 for International Women’s Day – weather / COVID19 permitting – stay tuned to this website and our FB page for updates. Look for a new slate of event pages for our gatherings in 2021. \nPhoto credit: The featured image for this event was obtained at Pixabay. No attribution was given and none was required.

We average about 20 women at our circles. Sometimes less\, sometimes more. We’ve had as few as 3 and as many as 42 show up! It begins each year with an event in conjunction with International Women’s Day (March 8) and continues each month on the day of the New Moon through October! \nIn circle\, we join in a short heart meditation\, then we have a time for personal sharing – feelings\, questions\, truths\, stories\, poems\, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength\, fearlessness\, nurturing\, healing and gifts. When the circle is closed\, anyone who brings a packed meal is welcome to find a suitable spot to eat picnic style. All are welcome to stay for informal conversation and relaxation. Come as you are. Join us! Please share these events with other women who may be interested. Thank you! \nKinstone has some amazing sacred spaces and we like to use them as much as possible. We usually gather in the large Stone Circle – however\, we have also met in Three Witnesses circle\, Star Gazer Circle\, Circle of Mystery and other outdoor sacred places at Kinstone (weather permitting). \nFor more information\, please see the following links which are inspirational and instrumental in the organization of our circle: internationalwomensday.com and globalsisterhood.org \nLIST OF DATES AND THEMES \nPlease note that we will update our website each month with specific event information for the monthly New Moon gathering. SUMMARY:Ribbons of Intention Fire Ceremony 2020
DESCRIPTION:Ribbons of Intention Fire Ceremony\n\n\n\n\nOctober 4 is the date designated as The Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi. On or around this date each year we remove the ribbons that are tied to the Tree of Intention (a.k.a. Prayer Tree) in the Kinstone Chapel of Creation and burn them in the fire pit in the Stargazer Circle\, releasing the prayers and intentions written there\, to the Universe. This special event is marked by a brief ceremony that is free and open to the public. \nThis year (2020) this date coincides with our 8th Annual Autumn Open House. We will begin this event shortly after the end of the Open House. Please consider coming early to participate in the open house and get a piece of homemade pie or cheesecake! \nWe gather around the Tree of Intention in the Kinstone Chapel of Creation to begin this ceremony. All of the ribbons on the Tree represent intentions left there by visitors to Kinstone over the past year. When possible\, the ribbons will have been removed from the Tree prior to the start of this event. If not\, then all those in attendance will assist with removing them. The removed ribbons are collected into a large basket. The basket of ribbons is placed at the feet of the little statue of St. Francis outside the chapel in a symbolic expression of gratitude for holding these prayers this year. \nAll those in attendance may participate in a short service to lift up all those intentions in prayer. Gathered around the empty Tree we will say The Peace Prayer of St. Francis as a single red ribbon with the intention for world peace inscribed upon it is tied to the Tree. A new season has begun! \nAt this time\, everyone present is invited to take a ribbon if they wish\, inscribe a new intention upon it for the coming year and tie it to the Tree as well. \nThe basket of ribbons is then carried with respect and honor to the Stargazer Circle where a fire is already burning in the fire pit. When gathered there\, we create a sacred space for this ceremony around the fire. We speak of Saint Francis and the significance of his story and how it relates to the Kinstone story. We read stories about him and prayers that are attributed to him. We state our purpose in burning the ribbons; we profess our willingness to release attachment to the outcome and express profound gratitude that our needs will be provided for in creative and sometimes unexpected ways.  The ribbons are then put into the fire\, releasing all the prayers\, all the intentions\, to the Universe. We end by saying a prayer of thanksgiving. \nIf you are interested in participating\, just show up. No registration is required. There is no fee.

Plein air artists work to capture the spirit and essence of a landscape or subject by incorporating natural light\, color and movement into their art. \nAccording to Wikipedia\, in the mid-19th century\, working in natural light became particularly important to various artists and schools of art (e.g. the Barbizon school\, Hudson River School\, and Impressionists). Wikipedia goes on to say French impressionist painters such as Monet\, Pissarro\, Cezanne\, Van Gogh and Renoir advocated plein air painting and much of their work was done outdoors. \nThere has been a recent revival of interest in plein air painting in the United States. Groups of plein air artists have begun gathering together to paint at single locations or within certain geographic boundaries giving them a chance to share their talents and creativity with the public and with one another. \nFind out more about plein air painting and related events by visiting any of the following websites: \nWisconsin Plein Air Painters Association (WIPAPA) \nOutdoor Painters of Minnesota (OPM) \nPlein Air Painters of America (PAPA)
