DESCRIPTION:All women are invited to join our monthly women’s circle around the fire and under the new moon starting on May 15! \nNew Moon Awakening: The Celestial Sisterhood is a monthly women’s gathering held at Kinstone generally on the Friday closest to the New Moon in the same month. Under the embrace of the new moon\, this event\, facilitated by Sierra Lynn of Yog Collective or Deanna Skroch\, invites women into a profound exploration of self and sisterhood here at this sacred stone sanctuary where the wisdom of the earth and the cosmos is embodied. \nIn this sacred space\, we will experience: \n\nIntentional movement that harmonizes our bodies with the rhythms of nature\, awakening our innate energy and grounding our spirits.\nGuided breathwork to deepen our connection to the divine within\, inviting clarity and the release of old patterns as we prepare to set our intentions of rebirth.\nEmotive dialogue\, to honor each woman’s story\, fostering a rich tapestry of shared experiences and insights. Our connection practices will cultivate a deep sense of unity\, allowing us to celebrate the power of vulnerability and the strength found in sisterhood.\n\nCloaked in the elements and held by the fire\, we close our gathering with meaningful ritual\, aligning our intentions with the lunar cycle and invoking the transformative energy of the new moon. Join us here for a journey of awakening and renewal\, as we embrace the magic of the new moon and the celestial sisterhood that binds us all. \nAfter the event ends\, all participants are asked to leave Kinstone in a timely manner. If you wish to wander the grounds\, please come earlier in the day\, prior to the start of the event. \n\nMonthly schedule: generally the second Friday of the month (usually the closest Friday to the new moon) from May through October \nDates: May 15\, June 12\, July 10\, August 14\, September 11\, and October 9 \nTime: 6:30pm – 8:30pm \nLocation: Around the Fire in the Stargazer Circle at Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: These monthly new moon gatherings are donation based PLUS the entrance fee to Kinstone ($10). Plan to arrive early enough to pay admission prior to the event. The Visitor Center will remain open until 6:45pm on these event nights to accommodate this. \nOur hope is to keep these accessible to any women who are feeling the call to community and celestial sisterhood. If the cost of entrance to Kinstone is prohibitive\, please reach out\, we have a scholarship fund for those in need. Consider a Season Pass to Kinstone if you plan to attend these and/or other Kinstone admission+ donation-based events regularly! \nNo pre-registration  is required; just show up with your Kinstone admission (pay in the Visitor Center before the event or check in at the Visitor Center if you have paid in advance or have your season pass) and bring a free-will donation for your facilitator (cash is appreciated and will be collected by the facilitator during the event). \nThe Visitor Center will be kept open on New Moon Awakening evenings until at least 6:45pm to accommodate folks coming in for these events. Try to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time. \nWhat to bring:  your admission ($10) and a cash donation for the leader\, a chair and/or blanket to sit on outdoors\, sunscreen\, insect repellent\, extra layers of clothing\, a water bottle\, an umbrella for rain or sun\, flashlights or headlamps for dark nights. Come experience the beauty of creative expression – join us for this introduction into the fun and creative world of Mandala Dot Art Painting on smooth river rocks! \nThis would be a great gift for anyone for Mother’s Day! \n\nCheri Bunker will guide us during this two hour creative workshop. Make your own painted mandala design on a smooth river rock. Paint one or more rocks in class. All supplies are provided and you will go home with your finished rock art. \nEach participant will get their own painting tool kit and three bottles of paint. You will be able to take home your painted rock(s) AND your painting tool kit and paints so you can use your new art skills to create more painted rocks or objects you may have at home at a later time. Place your painted rock(s) outside in your garden or inside your home. \nNo experience necessary. There is no right or wrong way to paint these works of art. Mandala dot paintings are geometric designs or patterns\, usually circular in nature and created with many small\, colorful dots. The act of creating mandala dot art can be very centering and calming and mandalas are often used as meditation tools. \n\nAbout your Instructor: \nCheri Bunker is a lifelong crafter and has over 20 years of experience presenting and facilitating many different types of classes and programs. She teaches mandala rock art classes\, spirit doll making classes\, Soul Collage ®\,  drumming and movement\, and other workshops! Her specialty is drumming and she created her business Drum It Up! out of her love of the drum and the positive effect it has on all her clients. Come experience the beauty of creative expression – join us for this introduction into the fun and creative world of Mandala Dot Art Painting on smooth river rocks! \n\nCheri Bunker will guide us during this two hour creative workshop. Make your own painted mandala design on a smooth river rock. Paint one or more rocks in class. All supplies are provided and you will go home with your finished rock art. \nEach participant will get their own painting tool kit and three bottles of paint. You will be able to take home your painted rock(s) AND your painting tool kit and paints so you can use your new art skills to create more painted rocks or objects you may have at home at a later time. Place your painted rock(s) outside in your garden or inside your home. \nNo experience necessary. There is no right or wrong way to paint these works of art. The word “mandala” comes from Sanskrit\, meaning “circle”. The circle is seen as a magical form\, without beginning and without end. Circles represent unity\, eternity\, wholeness and perfection. Mandala dot paintings are geometric designs or patterns\, usually circular in nature and created with many small\, colorful dots. The act of creating mandala dot art can be very centering and calming and mandalas are often used as meditation tools. \n\nAbout your Instructor: \nCheri Bunker is a lifelong crafter and has over 20 years of experience presenting and facilitating many different types of classes and programs. She teaches mandala rock art classes\, spirit doll making classes\, Soul Collage ®\,  drumming and movement\, and other workshops! Her specialty is drumming and she created her business Drum It Up! out of her love of the drum and the positive effect it has on all her clients. We average about 12 women at our circles. Sometimes less\, sometimes more. We’ve had as few as 3 and as many as 42 show up! It begins each year with an event in conjunction with International Women’s Day (March 8) and continues each month on the day of the New Moon through October! \nIn circle\, we join in a short heart meditation\, then we have a time for personal sharing – feelings\, questions\, truths\, stories\, poems\, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength\, fearlessness\, nurturing\, healing and gifts. NEW DUE TO COVID TIMES:  No meal is provided by Kinstone. DESCRIPTION:International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social\, economic\, cultural and political achievements of women – while also marking a call to action for accelerating gender equality. \nOn International Women’s Day (IWD)\, thousands of women around the world gather in Sister Circles to participate in a global event to bring forth the next level of feminine freedom in our world.Now is our time to unite. Together\, we will heal the wounds of the past\, step into emotional freedom\, and live in our full power. Women will gather together locally to empower each other and unify globally for a synchronized meditation. \nHere at Kinstone we kick off our new year of New Moon Women Circle meetings on this day! We will celebrate International Women’s Day with a short heart meditation\, sharing of personal stories\, and a simple meal. We each have a time to be seen and heard in a safe and nurturing space. Cancellations will be posted only on THIS event page and on the corresponding Facebook event page at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time for this event. \n——————————————————————————– \nREAD BELOW FOR GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE 2020 Monthly KINSTONE NEW MOON WOMEN’S CIRCLE Meetings \nWomen have been gathering in a healing\, sharing sister circle at Kinstone on the New Moon since March 2016 when the first International Women’s Day was launched. We average about 20 women at our circles. Sometimes less\, sometimes more. We’ve had as few as 3 and as many as 42 show up! It begins each year with an event in conjunction with International Women’s Day (March 8) and continues each month on the day of the New Moon through October! \nIn circle\, we join in a short heart meditation\, then we have a time for personal sharing – feelings\, questions\, truths\, stories\, poems\, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength\, fearlessness\, nurturing\, healing and gifts. We end with a shared meal and informal conversations around the tables. Come as you are. It is free to participate; however\, we do share a meal and if you want to eat\, we ask a $5 donation for a meal. Join us! Please share these events with other women who may be interested. Thank you! \nKinstone has some amazing sacred spaces and we like to use them as much as possible. We may gather in the large Stone Circle\, Three Witnesses circle\, Star Gazer Circle\, Circle of Mystery or other outdoor sacred place at Kinstone (weather permitting). If weather is uncooperative\, we meet in our beautiful classroom space in the Education Center. \nDate(s):  We meet on the evening of each NEW MOON\, March through October. See the list of dates below. When the timing of sunset and weather permitting\, we gather outdoors in one of the special places at Kinstone so please dress appropriately for being outside for an hour or longer. In case of bad weather\, we meet inside the Kinstone Education Center. \nCost: FREE to attend\, but bring $5 as a donation for a simple meal if you are partaking.
