SUMMARY:Honoring Our Sacred Connections to the Earth
DESCRIPTION:This Earth Day event is being held in conjunction with the Winona Interfaith Council. It is a time to root down into the sacred earth and honor the relationships and connections that bind us together.  Join us as we gather to celebrate Earth Day at Kinstone!\n\nWhat:   “Honoring Our Sacred Connections to the Earth:  An Earth Day Walking Program and Film at Kinstone”\n\nWhen:  Monday\, April 22nd – Earth Day 2019\n\nSchedule:\n\nA. Walking Program:  6:00 pm.  Kristine Beck (Kinstone creator)\, Corrine Haulotte (Lutheran)\, Paul Stern (Zen Buddhist)\, and Kathy Redig (Catholic) will speak at three of the sacred sites at Kinstone.  This will be held rain or shine. If the weather is bad this will be modified into an indoor “virtual walk & talk” in the Kinstone classroom.\n\nB.  Snacks and Social Time:  7:00 pm\n\nC.  Film:  7:30 pm.  “Standing on Sacred Ground” Episode 1: Pilgrims and Tourists (57 minutes) Russian shamans and a northern California tribe both confront massive government projects—and find common ground.
