Due to the prediction of heavy rain and thunderstorms we  have CANCELLED this event.  We hope to collaborate with the Sandbar Storytelling Festival at another time! Stay safe and dry everyone!\n\n\n++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++\n\nWe are excited to offer this FREE family storytelling event at Kinstone in cooperation with the Sandbar Storytelling Festival of Winona\, MN! \nCome listen to internationally-known storyteller\, Katie Knutson as she tells folktales from around the world and revives some of the old stories for us. Perfect for all ages! \nKatie is a professional storyteller based in Minneapolis\, Minnesota who has performed on 3 continents. She is a skilled teaching artist and workshop leader\, arts integration specialist\, and current Executive Director of Northeast Storytelling (NEST) and she promotes social justice through Storytelling. \nWe will also have Tansy’s Traveling Kitchen here. \nPlan to come grab some food from Tansy’s amazing menu\, then settle in with the kids to listen to a world-class storyteller for FREE! \nAfterwards\, think about staying for the Midsummer Music Concert in the Stones starting at 7:00pm in the Great Stone Circle (concert tickets are $30/person at the door)! \nSCHEDULE: \n4:00pm – 7:00pm  Tansy’s Food Truck is open for business at Kinstone \n4:30pm – 5:30pm  Family Folktales – Storytelling by Katie Knutson (FREE!) \n7:00pm – 8:30pm  Midsummer Concert ($30 ticket) \nIMPORTANT: This outdoor event is: Non-smoking\, Alcohol free\, Kid-Friendly\, and No dogs are allowed. \nThe storytelling portion of this program is offered free of charge and is made possible through grant funding awarded by: Winona Community Foundation.
