SUMMARY:New Moon Awakening: Celestial Sisterhood Women's Circle
DESCRIPTION:All women are invited to join our monthly women’s circle around the fire and under the new moon starting on May 15! \nNew Moon Awakening: The Celestial Sisterhood is a monthly women’s gathering held at Kinstone generally on the Friday closest to the New Moon in the same month. Under the embrace of the new moon\, this event\, facilitated by Sierra Lynn of Yog Collective or Deanna Skroch\, invites women into a profound exploration of self and sisterhood here at this sacred stone sanctuary where the wisdom of the earth and the cosmos is embodied. \nIn this sacred space\, we will experience: \n\nIntentional movement that harmonizes our bodies with the rhythms of nature\, awakening our innate energy and grounding our spirits.\nGuided breathwork to deepen our connection to the divine within\, inviting clarity and the release of old patterns as we prepare to set our intentions of rebirth.\nEmotive dialogue\, to honor each woman’s story\, fostering a rich tapestry of shared experiences and insights. Our connection practices will cultivate a deep sense of unity\, allowing us to celebrate the power of vulnerability and the strength found in sisterhood.\n\nCloaked in the elements and held by the fire\, we close our gathering with meaningful ritual\, aligning our intentions with the lunar cycle and invoking the transformative energy of the new moon. Join us here for a journey of awakening and renewal\, as we embrace the magic of the new moon and the celestial sisterhood that binds us all. \nAfter the event ends\, all participants are asked to leave Kinstone in a timely manner. If you wish to wander the grounds\, please come earlier in the day\, prior to the start of the event. \n\nMonthly schedule: generally the second Friday of the month (usually the closest Friday to the new moon) from May through October \nDates: May 15\, June 12\, July 10\, August 14\, September 11\, and October 9 \nTime: 6:30pm – 8:30pm \nLocation: Around the Fire in the Stargazer Circle at Kinstone\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, Wisconsin 54629 \nCost: These monthly new moon gatherings are donation based PLUS the entrance fee to Kinstone ($10). Plan to arrive early enough to pay admission prior to the event. The Visitor Center will remain open until 6:45pm on these event nights to accommodate this. \nOur hope is to keep these accessible to any women who are feeling the call to community and celestial sisterhood. If the cost of entrance to Kinstone is prohibitive\, please reach out\, we have a scholarship fund for those in need. Consider a Season Pass to Kinstone if you plan to attend these and/or other Kinstone admission+ donation-based events regularly! \nNo pre-registration  is required; just show up with your Kinstone admission (pay in the Visitor Center before the event or check in at the Visitor Center if you have paid in advance or have your season pass) and bring a free-will donation for your facilitator (cash is appreciated and will be collected by the facilitator during the event). \nThe Visitor Center will be kept open on New Moon Awakening evenings until at least 6:45pm to accommodate folks coming in for these events. Try to arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time. \nWhat to bring:  your admission ($10) and a cash donation for the leader\, a chair and/or blanket to sit on outdoors\, sunscreen\, insect repellent\, extra layers of clothing\, a water bottle\, an umbrella for rain or sun\, flashlights or headlamps for dark nights. Also bring any short poem\, quote\, or reading you may wish to share.

SUMMARY:CANCELLED SoulCollage® Workshop - Listening to the Stones
DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED\nWe are sorry to report that the SoulCollage® workshop scheduled for 5/21/23 at Kinstone has been cancelled by the instructor due to low attendance.  All tickets already purchased have been refunded in full. \nListening to the Stones \nSoulCollage® Workshop  \nJoin SoulCollage® facilitator Cynthea Gillespie\, for an afternoon of deep connection—with the stones\, with the earth\, and with the self. With its deeply energetic grounds\, Kinstone provides a special landscape for doing the transformative work of SoulCollage®. \nThrough SoulCollage®\, we go within to access our own deep inner wisdom. Each person will create personal collaged cards using found images from magazines\, recycled art books\, and other sources\, scissors\, and glue. You don’t need to be an artist to create your own SoulCollage® cards. All that’s required is a sense of playful curiosity and a willingness to let your intuition speak. \nWe’ll interpret and “read” the cards for ourselves and discover personal guidance and inspiration.  We’ll spend time doing individual and small group activities that will help us interpret the meaning of our new cards.  You’ll leave the workshop with a renewed sense of appreciation for your soul’s journey. \nRomance your own soul… and witness your own inner beauty. \n\nDate: Sunday\, May 21\, 2023 \nTime: 12:30pm – 4:00pm \nCost: $60 (This includes admission to Kinstone as well as all materials.) \nLocation:  Kinstone Education Center\, S3439 Cole Bluff Lane\, Fountain City\, WI 54629 \nAll materials provided (i.e. mat boards\, images\, scissors\, glue\, magazines and handouts). \nPlease plan to arrive early to spend time exploring Kinstone and walking the labyrinth if you so desire.  Bring your own water bottle. Classroom time begins at 12:30 PM. \n\nWhat is SoulCollage®? \n“SoulCollage® is an easy\, enjoyable\, intuitive collage process for self-discovery and community. People make their own decks of collaged cards for their personal use from found images. The SoulCollage® method helps people discover their unique inner/outer guides and challengers\, and access their own wisdom to answer their life questions. SoulCollage® is a method used in many contexts and applications. Visit About SoulCollage® or The SoulCollage® Method and read SoulCollage® Evolving for more information.” \n\nAbout your facilitator: \nCynthea Gillespie has been writing professionally for more than 25 years. While living in Santa Fe\, NM\, she discovered her inner artist and began experimenting with combining imagery with her writing. A heart-based\, creative intuitive\, Cynthea is passionate about leading others into deeper self-discovery. Following a job loss in 2016\, she discovered the powerful transformational tool of SoulCollage® and became certified to teach. An experienced workshop provider\, Cynthea facilitates creative workshops in Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Practice\, as well as delivering workshops in Visual Journaling as a tool of self-discovery and SoulCollage®. She lives in La Crosse\, WI.

SUMMARY:Into The Heart of the Goddess - an Equinox Sound Meditation Experience
DESCRIPTION:The Autumn Equinox is a time of balance. A pivot point\, if you will\, between the growth of Summer and the harvest time of Fall. Now is the time to take a deep breath and make some space inside – to make yourself ready for the preparation and storage of nourishment you will need during the coming darker months. Join us\, as we honor the Autumnal Equinox and journey inward to prepare our hearts for all that Autumn brings. \nJoin Mystic Sound Healer\, Rahbi Crawford and award winning author\, Renée Starr for an evening of crystal singing bowls\, rhythmic drumming\, guided meditation and sound healing as we journey Into the Heart of The Goddess to experience inner wisdom\, healing and deep nourishment of the spirit.  Wreathed in the protection of the standing stones of The Great Stone Circle\, immersed in sacred sound\, this promises to be a profound meditative experience for all. \n\n\n\n\nFiery\, fierce\, loving\, passionate\, filled with the wild mysteries\, the swirling darkness\, and light of the world; this is the heart of The Goddess. It is a place where our deepest fears\, joys\, and desires may be deeply explored\, it is within the sacred space of Her heart where the greatest healing transpires\, the most profound\, personal wisdom is revealed\, and the transformation of our lifetime unfolds. \nDo we dare to travel to this place? Oftentimes we do not\, for this is a place where we cannot hide\, cannot live in the illusion\, and where the shadow that hides our true self is dissolved – and for some\, this is a fearsome place\, and a daunting experience. But\, it is here\, in the place of Her Heart where we are stripped bare by Her light\, burnt to ash by Her fire\, and where we are refashioned anew by Her love. As we travel through Her boundless\, eternal heart\, the door to our own heart is flung wide open\, and we find the courage to trust the beautiful mystery of life\, and receive the love which we have been seeking for so long. \n\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT: This is a non-smoking\, alcohol free\, kid-friendly\, outdoor event. \nDate:  Saturday\, September 24\, 2022   RAIN DATE:  Sunday\, September 25\, 2022 (same time) \nTime: 5:00pm – 6:30pm \nTicket Cost:  tba \nTICKET LINK:  tba \nIMPORTANT:  Before purchasing your ticket\, please note the rain date and hold it open on your calendar. If the event is rained out on September 24\, it will be held on September 25 instead. If both dates are rained out we will cancel the event and refund all ticket holders. In either case\, all ticket holders who have provided an email address will be notified by email of the change in schedule and/or the cancellation. \nPay at the door (cash only) is possible but requires a reservation in advance; if you plan to come and pay at the door please CONTACT US to register! Advanced payment is preferred. \nIMPORTANT:  Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on for your comfort. Dress for the weather and bring your own insect repellent and/or sunscreen if needed. SUMMARY:Beginner's Eye: A Contemplative Photography Experience
DESCRIPTION:SPECIAL NOTE Regarding COVID: We are planning to run this mostly outdoor course with a limited class size to allow for proper social distancing and personal space both indoors and out. The land is lush and lovely\, the stones are standing in a sea of green – just waiting for you to come see it anew with your eyes and camera lens! Bring your own lunch and snacks!\nExplore how the lens of a camera can allow us to see things in ways that we may have otherwise missed.\nJoin Thomas Roberts for this fun\, contemplative/meditation experience that utilizes photography to slow us down and enable us to see our world in novel and original ways. Beginner’s Eye allows us to uncover shape\, color\, texture and beauty that are normally hidden from view. No photographic experience necessary!! \nBeginner’s Eye is based on the Zen notion of  “beginner’s mind” – that open and spacious place when we are completely receptive\, fearless\, totally present and connected to the wonder of each moment. This practice offers a pure\, clear\, seeing where everything is fresh and new. \nCultivating Beginner’s Eye deepens our connection with our true selves and the world around us. You do not need to be a photographer in order to practice contemplative photography. Contemplative photography is not a type of photography as is\, for example\, landscape or macro photography. It is not about having the right lens or the best camera\, or following guidelines about composition and light\, but rather\, it is about the interaction of our inner being with the object in the viewfinder. Using the camera as an extension of our inner vision\, contemplative photography focuses our attention and holds our awareness\, making it a mindful act and a way to nourish within us the integral practice of abiding mindfulness. \nThe open\, sacred landscape and intentional spaces at Kinstone make it a perfect place for a day of focused attention on awareness and vision. It is not about what you see; rather how you see it. Practicing seeing with a “beginner’s eye” will help you notice things in the world as if seeing them for the first time. This experience can be profoundly life changing. \nPre-registration is required\, as space is limited. The workshop is expected to fill. \nDate: Saturday\, June 5\, 2021 \nTime: 9:00am to 6:00pm (Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early!) \nCost:    $65 EARLY BIRD – must register by May 15;  $75 after May 15  :  No refunds. \nAdmission fee includes instruction and slideshow of final photography selections. \n  \nLimited attendance! Sign up early to reserve your spot. No refunds. \nAdditional details: This course will be held Rain or Shine. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes. \nDescription: \nThe morning is a time of learning through an introduction\, meditation\, and initial practice time. The afternoon begins with time outside creating photographs. Mid-afternoon we will settle down with the images we gathered and work on writing our own Haiku poetry to complement one or more of our photos. While the instructor prepares a slideshow of selected photos and Haiku from each participant\, the participants will have free time to walk about Kinstone. We gather again to enjoy the final slideshow featuring everyone’s work and wrap up with discussion and sharing. \nGeneral Schedule \n– What is Beginner’s Eye and what does photography have to do with it\n– Slideshow of examples of Beginner’s Eye photography\n– Meditations on seeing with clarity: Letting go of fears\, judgments\, expectations\n– The world through the viewfinder: Practice how to see\n– Haiku: simple\, short form poetry; word-play inspired by images\n– Lunch break (BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH)\n– Heading out with our camera to see with clear eyes and mind\n– Return: Time to contemplate our photographs and compose haikus\n– Choose 1 or more photographs and accompanying Haikus for the group slideshow\n– Walk about Kinstone while the slideshow is prepared\n– Slideshow!\n– Discussion and Closure \nNote: This is a contemplative retreat day in which you bring along a camera (even a cell phone camera is fine!) and take photos of what you see. To be clear\, this is not a photography workshop\, i.e.\, no photographic techniques will be taught. No photographic experience is necessary; however\, if you have photographic experience you may find the practice of Beginner’s Eye enhances your work and your new awareness may manifest itself in your photographs. \nWhat to bring: \n\nA willingness to be open and creative\nA digital camera; if you have an DSLR\, bring only one lens\, and yes\, point-and-shoot cameras and even cell phone cameras are perfectly acceptable (NOTE: if your camera or phone has a data transfer cable\, please bring it along as it can be helpful to get your photos transferred to a designated computer for the final slide show.)\nBring a thumb drive to easily transfer the final slideshow if you wish to have a copy to take home.\nDress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes\nA blanket or pillow to sit on\, if you wish\, for your comfort; chairs will be available to all\nYour own lunch and snacks \nYour own water bottle / travel mug. Note: water\, coffee and tea will be provided; and we encourage you to bring your own water bottle/travel mug to drink from. This is a sustainable practice we promote for all events at Kinstone. If you forget yours\, don’t worry\, we’ve got you covered!\n\nAbout your instructor: Thomas Roberts \nThomas (“Tom”) Roberts has nearly 50 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychotherapist. He has been an adjunct professor at Viterbo University in La Crosse\, WI and St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud\, MN\, where he has taught mind-body healing\, integrative medicine and other mindfulness related topics. He has been a practicing Zen Buddhist for nearly 50 years. In 1992 he received lay Buddhist vows from Thich Nhat Hanh. Based in La Crosse\, Wisconsin\, Tom offers contemplative and meditation retreats and workshops at centers locally and throughout the United States. He is the author of The Mindfulness Workbook: A guide to overcoming fear and embracing compassion (New Harbinger Press\, 2009). \nFor the past 4 decades\, Tom has used a camera to hone his ability to see the beauty of our world. He has become\, in his words\, an “advanced amateur photographer” and has learned to portray the wonder of the ordinary in ways that become extraordinary through photographs. Further\, he has practiced writing haiku\, a short form of Japanese poetry based on simple\, yet often profound\, observations of the everyday world\, to go with his photos. \nHis “Beginners Eye” approach draws on his personal experience of contemplative photography as a spiritual practice  and the innate wonder of the world to help us develop our capacity of seeing and reconnecting with our true selves and our own intimate relationship to the world in which we live. \n  \nRefund Policy:  There are no refunds. If you sign up and then determine you cannot attend; you may offer your spot to another individual if you wish.

I came to [The True Love Experience] to find peace\, and I found it. Thank you.” \n“Today [at the True Love Experience] I cleared past trauma\, hurt\, anger\, and everything that doesn’t serve a purpose anymore in my life. IT FEELS AMAZING! It was hard work\, painful\, challenging. I cried the hardest I’ve cried in my life. It was a major release\, beautiful energy transformation. I AM READY to fully step into my spiritual gifts. I forever have LOVE\, gratitude for Kristine Kieland and Mary Bauer for helping me step into my new phase and energy.” \n“I’ve had HUGE awarenesses since the event. I own my thoughts now. I have a new way of thinking and not projecting. It feels much better. Thanks for doing the work you both do.” \n“This was such a loving\, safe\, and needed experience for me. I was able to let go of past trauma and move forward in my journey. The joy I felt afterward had me giggling like a kid again! Thank you Mary and Kristine for this experience…it truly was AMAZING!” \n“An amazing event! I feel like the weight of the world was lifted from me.” \n“Just WOW. I feel totally transformed!! The guided meditation\, the breathwork\, and the healing was MIND BLOWING!!! I feel like a new person/soul\, thank you lovely healers for helping me remember who I TRULY AM!” \n“The True Love Experience helped me clear guilt\, unworthiness\, fear\, and grief\, but also helped clear so many things from my childhood to teenage years to young adult years\, and I’m so ready to clear and release more so I can truly live in TRUE LOVE.” \n“I went back to the womb during my True Love Experience and healed everything from that point forward. I used the name exercise that was taught\, and visualized my name as I called my energy back. I started seeing ‘Diane’ spelled with 1 N instead of my lifelong 2 N’s. The name on my birth certificate is spelled with 1 N\, but I’ve never spelled it that way. Weirder still\, when I type my signature on emails now\, I’m suddenly missing the second N and have to go back and add it. I’ve never misspelled my own name! It’s a bit scary but feels right too\, as if this is another part of who I’ve always been that is just now revealing itself. My awareness is that I can no longer live with anything less than my authentic nature.”\n__________________________________________________ \nPRESENTERS: \nKRISTINE KIELAND\nKristine is a multi-discipline intuitive teacher\, healer\, and coach.
