At this nighttime event\, watch the sunset\, relax with sacred sounds of rare Tibetan singing bowls\, huge gongs and Native American flute. Bring your favorite crystal with you to charge it up with all this high vibe energy. You will also have an opportunity to get your chakras grounded with healing vibrations while standing in a large singing bowl and/or choose a sound bath where you will be drenched in focused sound vibrations as you sit in front of a massive gong. \nIf skies are clear you will be able to see the (nearly) full moon rise over the rim of the world and over the standing stones of Kinstone. Set aside this time and join with us to hear sacred stories tuned to this season. \n\n\nLughnasadh\, also known as Lammas or Lughnasa\, is a an ancient Celtic seasonal festival that marks the beginning of the harvest season. Typically celebrated on August 1st\, it is a time to honor the first fruits of the harvest\, typically grain\, symbolizing the dwindling of summer and the slow transition into autumn. The festival is named after the Celtic god Lugh\, who is associated with the sun\, agriculture\, and craftsmanship. Lughnasadh is one of the four cross-quarter days in the Celtic Wheel of the Year\, marking the midpoint between the Summer Solstice and the Autumnal Equinox. \nStories and the art of storytelling transcend time and space; they are set deep in our bones. Our stories\, both ancient and new\, are transformational and absolutely essential to all life on this planet. Here’s your chance to find out! \nAt this nighttime event\, you can watch the sunset\, watch the full moon rise\, and take a guided night-time walk around Kinstone in the moonlight!  Bring your favorite crystal with you to charge it up with all this energy! Bring drums if you wish for an impromptu drum circle as the celestial lights mingle at twilight. \nIf skies are clear you will be able to see the full moon rise and then\, despite the brightness of the moon you can stargaze\, look for constellations\, the planets Jupiter and Saturn\, and maybe even spy a few shooting stars! \nEVENT DETAILS \nWHEN:   Friday\, September 13 \nTIME:  7pm to 10:30pm \nCOST:  $10 at the door  [Please bring correct change in CASH! Once admitted\, there are NO REFUNDS.] \nTICKETS:  Tickets at the door only. \nSCHEDULE: \n7:00pm – 8:00pm Watch the Sun Set (the sun officially sets at 7:20pm) and then watch the Moon Rise (the moon officially rises at 7:36pm). It begins each year with an event in conjunction with International Women’s Day (March 8) and continues each month on the day of the New Moon through November! \nAll women are invited to this circle\, especially women who desire to create supportive relationships with other women\, women who are feeling overwhelmed or stressed and are looking for some rejuvenation\, and women who are looking for ways to find and express the Sacred in their daily lives. \nIn circle\, we join in a short heart meditation\, then we have a time for personal sharing – feelings\, questions\, truths\, stories\, poems\, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength\, fearlessness\, nurturing\, healing and gifts. We end with a shared meal and informal conversations around the tables. Come as you are. Thank you. \nGENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE KINSTONE NEW MOON WOMEN’S CIRCLE \nWomen have been gathering in a healing\, sharing sister circle at Kinstone on the New Moon since March 2016 when the first International Women’s Day was launched. We average about 20 women at our circles. Sometimes less\, sometimes more. We’ve had as few as 3 and as many as 42 show up! It begins each year with an event in conjunction with International Women’s Day (March 8) and continues each month on the day of the New Moon through November! \nAll women are invited to this circle\, especially women who desire to create supportive relationships with other women\, women who are feeling overwhelmed or stressed and are looking for some rejuvenation\, and women who are looking for ways to find and express the Sacred in their daily lives. \nIn circle\, we join in a short heart meditation\, then we have a time for personal sharing – feelings\, questions\, truths\, stories\, poems\, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength\, fearlessness\, nurturing\, healing and gifts. We end with a shared meal and informal conversations around the tables. Come as you are. It is free to participate; however\, we do share a meal and if you want to eat\, we ask a $5 donation for a meal. Join us! Please share these events with other women who may be interested. Thank you! \nKinstone has some amazing sacred spaces and we like to use them as much as possible. We may gather in the large Stone Circle\, Three Witnesses circle\, Star Gazer Circle\, Circle of Mystery or other outdoor sacred place at Kinstone (weather permitting). If weather is uncooperative\, we meet in our beautiful classroom space in the Education Center. \nAll women are invited\, especially women who are desiring to create supportive relationships with other women\, women who are feeling overwhelmed or stressed and are looking for some rejuvenation\, and women who are looking for ways to find and express the Sacred in their daily lives.  \nDate(s): The evening of each NEW MOON March through November – see the list of dates below. We gather first and end with a shared meal for those who wish to stay.  In case of bad weather\, we meet inside the Kinstone Education Center. \nCost: FREE to attend\, but bring $5 for a simple meal if you are partaking.
