Come drum and dance with the elements in the Great Stone Circle each month while sharing energies with the mystical\, magical landscapes of Kinstone. \n\nJoin us for this monthly drum and freestyle dance experience led by Cheri Bunker\, occurring on the second Friday of each month starting in June and going through October from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome. \nTogether we will explore how the natural elements show up in our own movements. Freestyle dance and movement can unlock so much tension in the body and restore in us a sense of balance\, peace and self worth. Drumming with our heartbeats has many health benefits as well! \nMonthly we will drum and dance together in the Great Stone Circle. Each month we will focus on a different element. We will have a sacred space set up to hold objects representing the element for the month. Bring a stone or other object for the altar that YOU associate with the element for the month. \nWe will move and dance with colorful scarves and then play drums and percussion and then dance some more! Dance and move about or\, if you prefer\, you can sit on a chair and do movements seated if that is more comfortable for you. \nCome as often as you can! Drums and scarves will be available for your use. Her specialty is drumming and she created her business Drum It Up! out of her love of the drum and the positive effect it has on all her clients. Cheri facilitates the drumming program HealthRHYTHMS ®  and works with all populations specializing in memory care and disabled population. \nCheri is a REMO HealthRHYTHMS ® Endorsed Group Drumming Facilitator\, Licensed Drumtastic Teacher\, Rhythm2Recovery Facilitator\, Sound Healing Facilitator\, SoulCollage ® Facilitator\, Reiki Master/Teacher\, and Certified Aromatherapist. Join us at these open gathering times when we can be at Kinstone together to strengthen the body\, mind and spirit. We will be offering various experiences on Fridays during our open season led by various teachers\, healers\, drummers\, yogis\, and others from the region.  Times are the same each week and they are always donation based. We hope you join us as often as you can. \nThe idea is for us to regenerate and renew our relationships to ourselves\, others\, and our amazing natural world. Come explore the mysteries of your inner landscape while sharing energies with the mystical\, magical landscapes of Kinstone. \nKinections Through Movement and Breath on Fourth Fridays \nEvery FOURTH Friday\, May through October\, join us for a time to participate in a group movement and/or breathing practice. Kärin Wollan will lead us for most of these sessions this summer. She is an experienced yoga teacher and will hold space for the group. Restorative movement\, yoga and mild stretching along with attention to breath will be the main focus.  Some portion of the hour may be guided and some of the time will be silent. The leader is available to provide basic guidance. \nThe leader will be present and practicing their movement discipline with the land and the standing stones each FOURTH Friday; the energy exchange happening within Kinstone during this hour each week is so important. The more who join in the more connections can be made and deepened. Come on\, join in\, and make a “kinection”! \nNo registration is required. Rain or shine! \nLocation/Meeting Area: The group will meet in the Great Stone Circle as a general rule. If it is raining\, the group will meet under the pavilion of the Dragon’s Keep or inside the Chapel of Creation depending upon the number of participants. If there is thunder\, lightning\, or high winds\, the event will be cancelled. Come early and wander the grounds\, visit your favorite standing stones\, and get inspired. \nWhat to bring: water bottle\, mat and/or blanket\, chair or cushion\, and/or other items you wish for your comfort including your own sunscreen and/or insect repellent \nCOST:  Admission to Kinstone…  and… the leaders appreciate a $5 to $10 suggested donation. \nThis is an informal\, donation based offering; which basically means come as you are and pay what you can using the suggested donation as a starting place. You must have paid your admission to Kinstone upon entering the grounds (either by credit card in advance online or in cash in the blue payment boxes on the information boards). There will be a separate collection point at the event where donations for the event will be taken. If you can pay the full suggested amount for the experience\, wonderful! If you can pay more than the suggested amount that would be awesome as you may be paying it forward for someone who cannot afford it. If you cannot afford the suggested amount\, pay what you can\, we understand. All are welcome no matter what their financial status is. We just ask that you make an honest donation. Come early and wander the grounds\, visit your favorite standing stones\, and get inspired. \nWhat to bring: water bottle\, mat and/or blanket\, chair or cushion\, and/or other items you wish for your comfort including your own sunscreen and/or insect repellent \nCOST:  Admission to Kinstone…  and… the leaders appreciate a $5 to $10 suggested donation. \nThis is an informal\, donation based offering; which basically means come as you are and pay what you can using the suggested donation as a starting place. You must have paid your admission to Kinstone upon entering the grounds (either by credit card in advance online or in cash in the blue payment boxes on the information boards). There will be a separate collection point at the event where donations for the event will be taken. If you can pay the full suggested amount for the experience\, wonderful! If you can pay more than the suggested amount that would be awesome as you may be paying it forward for someone who cannot afford it. Come explore the mysteries of your inner landscape while sharing energies with the mystical\, magical landscapes of Kinstone. \nKinections Through Movement and Breath on Fourth Fridays \nEvery FOURTH Friday\, May through October\, join us for a time to participate in a group movement and/or breathing practice.
