Come drum and dance with the elements in the Great Stone Circle each month while sharing energies with the mystical\, magical landscapes of Kinstone. \n\nJoin us for this monthly drum and freestyle dance experience led by Cheri Bunker\, occurring on the second Friday of each month starting in June and going through October from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome. \nTogether we will explore how the natural elements show up in our own movements. Freestyle dance and movement can unlock so much tension in the body and restore in us a sense of balance\, peace and self worth. Drumming with our heartbeats has many health benefits as well! \nMonthly we will drum and dance together in the Great Stone Circle. Each month we will focus on a different element. We will have a sacred space set up to hold objects representing the element for the month. Bring a stone or other object for the altar that YOU associate with the element for the month. \nWe will move and dance with colorful scarves and then play drums and percussion and then dance some more! Dance and move about or\, if you prefer\, you can sit on a chair and do movements seated if that is more comfortable for you. \nCome as often as you can! Drums and scarves will be available for your use. Come explore the mysteries of your inner landscape while sharing energies with the mystical\, magical landscapes of Kinstone. \nJoin us for monthly Kinections through HEALING RITUALS on third Saturdays (except July when it is on the 4th Saturday). \n\n\n“Ritual is called for because our soul communicates things to us that the body translates as need\, or want\, or absence. So we enter into ritual in order to respond to the call of the soul.” \n― Malidoma Patrice Somé\, Ritual: Power\, Healing and Community\n\n\nJoin us for this monthly community healing ritual led by Erica Thibodeaux\, MS\, LPCC\, occurring on the third Saturday of each month May through October from 3pm to 5pm  (except July when it is on the 4th Saturday!). No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome. \nDuring these events\, we will come together and create a ritual that emerges from the rhythm of all who are gathered\, their current needs\, and the guidance and support of the elemental beings of the fire (ancestors)\, water\, earth\, nature\, and minerals. \nWhat is created will arise out of the group’s voices and will be a new creation based on the relationships each participant carries with them into our circle from their own inner wisdom that may or may not be already known. \nThis event is highly participatory. Erica has taught mindfulness meditation in diverse settings such as universities\, corporate environments\, and local organizations.  She uses creative and empowering methods to evoke client-centered transformation and provide individuals\, couples\, and families with tools to take and use over their lifetime. Come explore the mysteries of your inner landscape while sharing energies with the mystical\, magical landscapes of Kinstone. \nJoin us for monthly Kinections through HEALING RITUALS on third Saturdays (except July when it is on the 4th Saturday). \n\n\n“Ritual is called for because our soul communicates things to us that the body translates as need\, or want\, or absence. So we enter into ritual in order to respond to the call of the soul.” \n― Malidoma Patrice Somé\, Ritual: Power\, Healing and Community\n\n\nJoin us for this monthly community healing ritual led by Erica Thibodeaux\, MS\, LPCC\, occurring on the third Saturday of each month May through October from 3pm to 5pm  (except July when it is on the 4th Saturday!). No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome. \nDuring these events\, we will come together and create a ritual that emerges from the rhythm of all who are gathered\, their current needs\, and the guidance and support of the elemental beings of the fire (ancestors)\, water\, earth\, nature\, and minerals. \nWhat is created will arise out of the group’s voices and will be a new creation based on the relationships each participant carries with them into our circle from their own inner wisdom that may or may not be already known. \nThis event is highly participatory. You are asked to arrive with an open heart and mind and a willingness to learn from the elements themselves as well as willingness to support your fellow participants. Alcohol and drug use are not allowed during these events. \nCost: These rituals are donation based + the entrance fee to Kinstone ($10). Our hope is to keep these accessible to any who are feeling the call to community and nature-based healing. Consider a Season Pass to Kinstone if you plan to attend these events regularly! Erica has taught mindfulness meditation in diverse settings such as universities\, corporate environments\, and local organizations.  She uses creative and empowering methods to evoke client-centered transformation and provide individuals\, couples\, and families with tools to take and use over their lifetime. Some of the methods she uses are group and community ritual facilitation\, somatic and body-centered therapy\, focusing\, spiritual re-wilding\, earth and nature-based therapy\, and Indigenous African technologies. Ritual is at the core of all that she offers.
