DESCRIPTION:Join us at Kinstone in rural Fountain City\, Wisconsin\, USA\, for a Sunday afternoon open house event at our peaceful stone sanctuary\, enjoy LIVE music by The Bus Boys on the Porch\, LIVE violin music by professional violinist Kathleen Covalt in the Great Stone Circle\, NEW THIS YEAR – enjoy some lunch from Tansy’s Traveling Kitchen FOOD TRUCK\, homemade pie\, Stories of the Stones with Kristine\, self-guided tours and good times as we celebrate Kinstone and the autumn season with all of you.  You may even find opportunities for a tarot or other card reading! Find detailed directions here: DIRECTIONS TO KINSTONE. \nThe labyrinth\, chapel\, stone circle\, dolmen\, yurt\, sauna and other features will be open and available for exploration throughout the day. See standing stones\, prairie\, pond\, food gardens\, three goats\, three adult cats\, 5 young cats (tour guides in training)\, cob oven\, solar dehydrator\, light straw-clay cabin\, rocket mass heater\, thatched cordwood chapel\, cordwood sauna\, yurt and more! \nDATE:  Sunday\, October 1\, 2023  TIME:  Noon to 5pm \nCOST: This is a FREE event.  Donations are appreciated and can be placed in our Blue Payment Boxes on the information boards near the parking areas or placed in a special donation box at the food table. THANK YOU! \n\nGeneral Schedule for the day: \n\nNoon to 5pm ~ Tansy’s Traveling Kitchen FOOD TRUCK (menu tba)\n12:00 – 3:00pm ~ LIVE – Music by THE BUS BOYS 0n the Education Center porch\n2:30 – 3:30pm ~ Talk with Kristine Beck – Stories of the Stones\n3:30 – 4:00pm ~ LIVE – Violinist Kathleen Covalt in the Great Stone Circle\n\nTansy’s Traveling Kitchen Food Truck will be operating from Noon until 5pm or until the food runs out! Coffee\, Tea\, Hot Cocoa\, Sparkling Water\, Soft Drinks\, HOMEMADE PIE & ice cream will be available all afternoon as well (so bring your food and treat $$). \nThe Kinstone Gift Shop will be Open! Find Kinstone merch\, unique gifts\, and works by local artists – and make sure to check out our NEW dragon design t-shirts! Stock up on our honey and fresh Kinstone jams and jellies. Find Kinstone photo cards\, handmade dragon hatchlings\, prayer flags\, fabric baskets\, mandala selenite heart stones\, and more. \nThis event shall be held RAIN OR SHINE. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes. It always seems to be breezy up here on the ridge.
