A small group of us is initiating a Kinstone Drum Circle. Our inaugural meeting will be Sunday, September 27 at 6:30pm at Kinstone. After this initial meeting we will determine when we meet next. What better place to have a Drum Circle than in the Kinstone Stone Circle?? We are very excited for this event. On Sunday evening, pending clear weather, we will stay longer to view the Supermoon Total Lunar Eclipse that will be visible here.
We will drum for about one hour beginning around 6:30pm. This first event we will drum an unpracticed, unskilled and spontaneous autumn beat at sunset / moonrise – coincidentally at nearly the same time on the 27th! We have not held any drum circles here yet and we are excited about giving it a try. Anyone coming to join us should bring a drum or percussion instrument of choice! Then, pending clear viewing, we will witness the Super Moon Total Lunar Eclipse playing out above us beginning at about 8pm (see expected timings listed below). The weather sounds like it will be partly cloudy and mild with a possibility of evening showers in spots – so we are hoping for no rain at Kinstone and at least partially clear skies! See more and sign up for these evening activities HERE.
