Theme: Self mastery; I review my year and integrate it’s wisdom
Astrology: Capricorn, an Earth sign, ruled by Saturn. Keywords: Dependable, sophisticated, resourceful, wise, responsible, loyal, disciplined, patient, ambitious, practical, cautious.
As the year comes to an end, this new moon provides us with an opportunity for integration and completion. It reflects to us our progress, the myriad ways we have grown, and our most important learnings. Use this sacred time to create space for self-reflection so that the year that is coming to a close is honored and all the rich lessons experienced throughout that year are merged into the fabric of our souls as we move across the threshold to a new year and a new decade.
This new moon falls on the auspicious day of Christmas (the astrological celebration of the resurrection of the sun from the Southern Cross), and it also happens to be a Solar Eclipse. Talk about powerful energy! Because Capricorn is a very resourceful, wise, responsible, and ambitious sign, this new moon invites us to remember the importance of being devoted and disciplined to self-growth and inner work.
Reflection prompts:
- ready to burn, compost, or re-write? How do these need to shift in order to be aligned with your current soul’s needs, values, and priorities?
- What is a realization you have had recently that shifted something for you in your life? Share this wisdom with your sisters.
- What does your soul desire to bring forth this new year? Listen deeply as you answer this question — you may surprise yourself.
- Do you create enough time in your schedule for self-reflection and inner work? If not, how can you implement changes that provide you the space you need?
- What are your favorite self-love practices? What are your favorite self-reflection practices? What are your favorite solo practices for inner-work and healing?
Reminder: There are no in person gatherings for the Kinstone New Moon women’s circles during November, December, January, and February. We post “Virtual Events” for these months instead.
Our next in person event will be on March 8 for International Women’s Day – weather / COVID19 permitting – stay tuned to this website and our FB page for updates.
