Theme for August: FEARLESSLY ME – I AM NOT AFRAID TO BE SEEN

The Kinstone New Moon Women’s Circle is a Sister Circle inspired by the Global Sisterhood™.  A Sister Circle is a safe and sacred place where we can get real, share our journeys, insights, and stories. We can cultivate self-love and authentic connection. In circle we can all speak our truth and be seen and heard for who we are. All women are invited to join in our circle, especially women who desire to create supportive relationships with other women, women who are feeling overwhelmed or stressed and are looking for some rejuvenation, and women who are looking for ways to find and express the Sacred in their daily lives.

We meet at Kinstone once a month on the Friday closest to the new moon. Join us! Here are the details for this month:

Theme of the Month: FEARLESSLY ME – I AM NOT AFRAID TO BE SEEN During the new moon in Leo we dive into the parts of ourselves we hide, allowing them to come out and play, so we can be whole, confident, and embodied women. Remember that for thousands of years it wasn’t safe for women to show the world our true brilliance and gifts.

Astrology: Leo (Fire sign ruled by the Sun) This new moon in Leo invites us to step into the spotlight with faith and trust, saying “Here I am!”, and owning our truth. Our truth is our power, and often we deny our own truth to ourselves, to our close loved ones, and perhaps to everyone we meet.

Keywords: Courage, loyalty, leadership, pride, sincerity, charisma, passion, authority, warmth, generosity, abundance, active, open, enjoys being admired

Some questions for contemplation / inspiration for sharing this month:

• How would you use your voice about edgy issues like racism or sexism if you were standing in your full multi-spectrum truth and being fully honest with yourself and others?

• What situation in your life would benefit from you allowing yourself to be more fully seen? What action could you take that could help you heal?

• Do you have a relationship in your life where you feel unsafe to be fully you? If so, what is the story you are running in your head about that relationship and how can you change the narrative?

• What are you afraid to let be seen? Why? What happens when you share it with the group or a partner? How does it feel?

• What is something you are holding back from sharing with the world or the ones closest to you: socially, professionally, and emotionally.

• What is one of your gifts or talents that most people don’t know about? 

• Tell about a time you were courageously vulnerable or opened up instead of hiding. What happened? How did you feel?

What to expect: In Circle, we discuss the theme for the month, then join in a short group heart meditation, followed by a time for personal sharing – feelings, questions, truths, stories, poems, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength, fearlessness, nurturing, healing and gifts. Come as you are.

Come prepared to share! Feel free to share what is on your heart, something you have written or bring a short poem, quote, or story that speaks to you – this may be relevant to the theme for the month or could be anything that you find inspirational or that highlights the unique strengths of women.

WHAT  TO BRING: An item for the altar (stone, flowers, personal item etc.), a chair and/or blanket to sit on outdoors, sunscreen, insect repellent, extra layers of clothing, a water bottle, flashlights or headlamps for dark nights.
