Theme for July: ANCESTRAL HEALING: I HEAL MY PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE

The Kinstone New Moon Women’s Circle is a Sister Circle inspired by the Global Sisterhood™.  A Sister Circle is a safe and sacred place where we can get real, share our journeys, insights, and stories. We can cultivate self-love and authentic connection. In circle we can all speak our truth and be seen and heard for who we are. All women are invited to join in our circle, especially women who desire to create supportive relationships with other women, women who are feeling overwhelmed or stressed and are looking for some rejuvenation, and women who are looking for ways to find and express the Sacred in their daily lives.

We meet at Kinstone once a month on the Friday closest to the new moon. Join us! Here are the details for this month:

Theme of the Month: ANCESTRAL HEALING: I HEAL MY PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE Clearing ancestral patterns can touch every area of our lives. This can result in a healthier relationship with ourselves, finally allowing us to feel safe in our bodies and on this earth. We feel a sense of belonging — not only in community, but within a larger web of life that stretches through time. Possibly the most beautiful result is that we tap into the spiritual wisdom, guidance, and protection of our ancestors. This wisdom is needed to heal ourselves and our world.

Astrology: Cancer (Water sign, ruled by the Moon): Cancer embodies the energies of love, harmony and sympathy. Is gifted with a strong intuition and psychic powers.

Some questions for contemplation / inspiration for sharing this month:

• How would you describe your relationship with ancestors?
• What patterns do you witness in your family that are also in you, that you want to bring healing to?
• How does your ancestry tie into your identity, and affect how you move through life both personally and socially? 
• What privileges or challenges are related to your maternal and paternal lineages?
• Have you ever felt the presence of your ancestors? If so, what did it feel like, or what did it bring up for you?
• Someday, most of us will be ancestors. When you think forward to being an ancestor or an elder, what wisdom would you pass on to future generations?
• When you close your eyes and feel, what wisdom or guidance do you sense that your ancestors would want to give you?

What to expect: In Circle, we discuss the theme for the month, then join in a short group heart meditation, followed by a time for personal sharing – feelings, questions, truths, stories, poems, and more. In this space we are free to celebrate our individuality as well as our collective strength, fearlessness, nurturing, healing and gifts. Come as you are.

Come prepared to share! Feel free to share what is on your heart, something you have written or bring a short poem, quote, or story that speaks to you – this may be relevant to the theme for the month or could be anything that you find inspirational or that highlights the unique strengths of women.

WHAT  TO BRING: An item for the altar (stone, flowers, personal item etc.), a chair and/or blanket to sit on outdoors, sunscreen, insect repellent, extra layers of clothing, a water bottle, flashlights or headlamps for dark nights.
