You are invited to this special concert to recognize and observe the return of the Autumn Equinox at Kinstone! We host seasonal intentional events that remind us to honor our home, the Earth and to connect with the sun, moon and stars in our larger, universal home. Join us as we welcome Autumn with enchanting music and sacred sound!

Experience an incredible soundscape created by world-class musicians Peter Phippen and Rahbi Crawford! Special guests, Victoria Shoemaker and Tiit Raid will also perform. Crawford is a force of flowing energy as she evokes ethereal sounds from crystal and metal singing bowls, a gong, and her hauntingly beautiful voice. Phippen, Shoemaker and Raid represent a melting pot of three generations of cultural music.  Phippen is mentor to Shoemaker and Raid is mentor to Phippen. These three are passing along the spirit of the music through time and generations. True kin! Together they elicit music from ancient and modern flutes (wooden, bamboo and crystal) and exotic instruments such as the berimbau and kannal, as well as moyo drums, frame drums and other percussion instruments. Read more about the performers below.

This concert will wrap up just before the setting of the Equinox sun. Afterwards, if the horizon is clear, you may even get a glimpse of the Kinstone Equinox Sunset Alignment!
