Have you wondered what it is like at Kinstone at night? Here’s your chance to find out!

At this nighttime event, you can watch the sunset, watch the full moon rise, and take a guided night-time walk around Kinstone in the moonlight!  Bring your favorite crystal with you to charge it up with all this energy! Bring drums if you wish for an impromptu drum circle as the celestial lights mingle at twilight.

If skies are clear you will be able to see the full moon rise and then, despite the brightness of the moon you can stargaze, look for constellations, the planets Jupiter and Saturn, and maybe even spy a few shooting stars!

WHEN:   Friday, September 13

TIME:  7pm to 10:30pm

COST:  $10 at the door  [Please bring correct change in CASH! Once admitted, there are NO REFUNDS.]

TICKETS:  Tickets at the door only.

SCHEDULE:

7:00pm – 8:00pm Watch the Sun Set (the sun officially sets at 7:20pm) and then watch the Moon Rise (the moon officially rises at 7:36pm). Bring drums if you wish for an impromptu drum circle as the celestial lights mingle at twilight. The actual times of sunset and moonrise will vary based on the topography of Kinstone.

8:00pm – 10:00pm Night Walk Around Kinstone with Kristine

• Walk in the moonlight along with Kristine Beck, creator of Kinstone, as she leads you on a path to Chapel of Creation, Labyrinth, Dolmen, Three Witnesses, Star Gazer Circle, and the Great Stone Circle. We will stop briefly at each location to hear a bit about it and to gaze at the night sky from each; you can be sure it will be quite an experience! Bring your flashlight, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy walking shoes. Bring something to protect yourself from any mosquitoes or other biting insects as they become more active after sunset!

10:00pm:  Sit around the fire and stargaze in the Stargazer Circle for a while before you leave! Ask questions of Kristine about Kinstone. See how many meteors you can spot. Can you find Jupiter and Saturn?

*IMPORTANT:  This is a family friendly, alcohol free, smoke free event!

STUFF TO BRING!!! Bring your own chair, reclining lawn chair, blankets, pillows, or mats for your comfort if you wish to sit while watching the sunset and moonrise. Bring your flashlight, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy walking shoes. Bring something to protect yourself from any mosquitoes or other biting insects as they become more active after sunset!
